I first contacted Smallest Footprints 3D 4D Ultrasound studio when I was 12 wks pregnant. I was interested their advertised SneakPeek Clinical blood test to find out the gender of our baby. I scheduled an appointment and went to have my blood drawn. I paid the extra $20 to have next day delivery. This was on a Saturday and Monday was a holiday. I was told I would find out Tuesday. I waited until late afternoon Tuesday to call and see how I would be receiving my results. I was informed that I would either receive an email from the lab that processed it or from the ultrasound studio. That a lot of times they receive it first and email to to their customers. I was fine with that. At 4:30 that afternoon I received an email from *** James, the owner of the studio that told me I was having a girl. The email was a picture that automatically loaded that had the SneakPeek company logo on it and SneakPeek was actually on the email itself. I thought she had received this from SneakPeek and forwarded it to me. She volunteered an ultrasound to confirm the gender. She ended up doing two and confirmed it was a girl at 15 wks. Well, turned out to actually be a boy. Once we had the baby I attempted to contact SneakPeek to get my guaranteed refund for inaccurate results. After several emails back and forth it was discovered that *** did not use SneakPeek for this testing, she used a completely different lab. They told me that they had contacted her and she told them she would be contacting me to get me my refund. She did not contact me. I emailed her and asked her send me my refund to my address and let her know that SneakPeek let me know that she was suppose to have contacted me. She claimed my phone was disconnected, but I have had had the same number for over 10 years. She also told me she didn't want me to slander her business, that she had informed me that I was not using SneakPeek. I was not aware of this. The email I received appeared to be from SneakPeek. I still don't have a refund after a month
Product_Or_Service: SneakPeek (or so I thought) gender blood results
Desired Settlement ID: Refund I would like for a check for the full amount that I paid for this blood test to be sent to me. I have given the owner my address via email, a month ago. I also ran out of room in my complaint. She informed me via email that her staff sent the edited picture, using SneakPeek's results and that her staff had sent me the wrong results. So that she had the correct results to entire time. The test I was given I was told would be refunded once I had the baby and a birth certificate to prove gender.
