Published and shared information without my consent.
This site is publishing my information and relatives information without consent. My privacy is not being protected and I would like mine and their information removed immediately.

I did not authorize them to have my information on the their website. Please have them delete ALL my private information. I did send them a request.
Please have them delete my information from their website. It has ALL my personal information listed and I do not want that. I have contacted them but have heard nothing back.

SmartBackgroundChecks is currently displaying my personal information on their public web-page against my will. I would like it removed.
I have never at any time given SmartBackgroundChecks my permission to use my information or to post it on their web site. I would prefer my information stay private as its public access negatively effects my personal and professional life.

Removal of my personal information from smartbackgroundchecks
As I was browsing on the internet I came across several fraudulent websites that have my personal information such as my name, phone number and address displayed on their sites and available for the world to see. Needless to say that I was not aware nor have I ever consented to have my personal information sold and exposed on the internet to endanger my life. I have a family and myself to protect from life threats and dangers hence the reason why this violates my privacy and should be addressed to remedy to the issue. It was also brought to my attention that these small companies make a living from selling people's personal information. It is said that they compile information about people's personal life mostly pulled from various public records, then make it available on their website for sale. Besides I have contacted them several times to demand that my information be removed. They will agree to it but a week later after self checking, the information will still be there. They want to charge me money to keep my info private on their website when I have never agreed/consented/knew about these criminals until I found my info displayed on google on their website.

The reason for my complaint is to seek your help and ask you to step in to have this people wipe my personal information from their system/data as this is endangering my life and that of my family members. It is unacceptable, life threatening and against the law to have people's lives put out in public in the name of making a living off of it . Meanwhile, people's lives are destroyed.

This complaint is against Smartbackgrouncheck for violation of opt-out request and cyber harassment.
This "fly by night "outfit started by misusing my name and having me as an AKA as a 100 year old woman. I told them to get the information out . After numerous requests, they did not. Finally, they removed the link to the 100 year old person but they left my name on their page of names. It also shows up in a Google search. Google will not remove as the page is still live. I have REPEATEDLY contacted them with URL's, screenshots, etc. - and they still will not remove! They are also harassing my family members with links to their site via the other people search site that has also been harassing my family with their willful violations of opt-out request.s What's even worse they are working with another "fly by night affiliate" whom I also had to go through the Revdex.com in that state - and they too continue! Both of these entities are already on records with the FTC - but yet they continue. I am writing to warn others of these entities. We need federal legislation to protect consumers against these abuses. No other industry or business can get away with the practices that these search sites are engaging in. I want these people to scrub my records as well as those of my family members. Opt-out should mean opt-out once and for all. They are abusing public records by harassing people. I don't understand why these people violate these opt-outs. There is no reason to do so - but to drive traffic to their sites.

This website has my entire name and phone number and each time I request for my record to be removed (as that is an option provided on the site) I get kicked to another people search website and never actually get to remove my record. I am including the information I want removed, all of it, this is wrong information and I shouldn't have to be subjected to misappropriation of my character

This website post my personal information online causing me to get threatening calls and sex subscriptions emails from unknown people I'm scared.help
Recently I've been getting threatening phone calls from someone chewing, running water or the person will call and then hang up. I'm also getting emails subscription from sex sites to one of my emails ***@gmail.com. Today I google my name online and see my personal information link to smartbackgroundchecks.com, instantcheckmate.com and golookup.com. I call instant check mate and melissa said she would remove the 3 instances of my name in their system and she would send an email to confirm removal. Then I call back because I gave I had to confirm my email with melissa and joseph answer the call saying I need to call 3 times to remove because they have 3 instances of my name in their system. I told him what melissa said and he said to call thursday to see if it's done. I cannot find a phone number for smartbackgroundcheck.com or golookup.com. I can't sleep because I am stressed and I get nervous when my phone rings.

This site provides anyone access to my personal information, including home address and phone number. Also, false information is listed.

Smartbackgroundchecks.com is advertising my name, address and phone number on their website and I am concerned for my safety and stolen identity. I was able to pull up all my private information on the safari search engine. They also contain information which is contrary to my character. This information negatively affect my potential for future employment opportunities. I would like to have my information removed from their site.
