Review: We purchased November 2,2013 a brand new Samsung washer machine and a refurbished Samsung Dryer from Smart Buy. Our brand new washer machine broke on August 17th giving us a PE code.

I pulled out our receipt & called Smart Buy to help, after all less than one year old. ( all machines have a one year guarantee warranty) They said you need to call Samsung and let them help you . After calling Samsung many times, they were hung up on our original receipt from Smart Buy , stating all appliances sold as is. Therefore, I called Smart Buy asking for a new statement/ receipt saying we purchased a brand new washer machine. The original receipt purchase was all on one line. I did receive it, and sent it off to Samsung. Still going thorough the process with Samsung, they even called Smart Buy and asked for the breakdown of purchases as it only stated total 1300.00....they broke it down to 700.00 for washer, 600.00 for dryer. IN the end , Samsung told us they still could not honor our request because of their receipt. I called Smart Buy with Samsung on the line and said I was still hopeful we could resolve this issue, get us another new machine, fix it or give us our money back.

I spoke with Tim, employee, Tony General manager , and then was able to get the owners name [redacted] I called [redacted] and explained very simply that if the original receipt statement had the "AS IS" for the dryer only then we would be golden. I told him Tony had sent me in writing a statement that our washer machine comes with a one year manufacturer warranty. He stated he was very nice, and was getting upset with me. Then came around and said he would help order the part and get a repair man. I called him back three days later , he sounded irritated with me and asked me to call him back at noon. I did left a message and have not heard from him since. That one this past Monday Sept. 8th.Desired Settlement: I would like to get another brand new machine.

SmartBuy be monitored for the statements on receipts, making sure they are applied properly.

Review: A set of washer and dryer have been purchased from Smart Bay Appliance &TV on 5/18. The set was sold as new, unused/open box item with some cosmetic damages. Cash deposit has been left a day prior and noted that I will be back next day with a vehicle to arrange the pick up.Small minor issue was with the fact that the store hours are 10:30am- 6pm. [redacted],the store's owner arrived 20 minutes late. The appliances have been then loaded, thank you for assisting with that, no complains there.Upon delivery proper care has been taken to unload the machines and install then per factory manual requirements with leveling out both machines. It took two people and over 1 hr of work to complete this task. When everything was set up and power cords were plugged in it came to be that the washer machine did not power on completely. There was no power on chime sound nor did the display even blink ones and when "play/start" button is pushed the washer may go trough random operations such as spinning the drum turning on and off the water or choose not to respond at all. I immediately called the store and advised them of the issue as clearly the store sold me a none working machine from the start! I was told [redacted] is busy and he will call me within 1 hr. No one called, I called back again same thing took place. Later I received a call. [redacted] said he will be picking up a new display and calling me next day. I called back on following day around noon. [redacted] picked up and sounded agitated, I asked again for a time line as to when to expect him home as I took a day off work. He said he will call me later and he is busy now. I made another call around 3pm left a vm, called at 6pm lvm no response from vendor. I still have a broken machine that costs a lot of $ sitting in the garage. I've received exactly 0 service and 0 response or even an attempt to resolve this matter timely from the vendor.Desired Settlement: option 1 I would like a new, working machine, not a fixer-upper that was sold broken to us by the store. With that I will expect free delivery and pick up of the broken machine.option 2 I would like a full refund without any restocking fees, pick up logistics are to be arranged by the vendor with this option I would also expect $100 delivery refund as that is the price vendor quoted me for having the equipment delivered to our home. We opted out and used our own transportation, gas, time.

Review: I purchased Jan 3, 2015, brand new Samsung washer machine and Samsung Dryer from Smart Buy. I paid with a sum amount of $1100 (including delivery service) with CASH because the owner wanted the cash money in order to sell the appliances for the negotiated price. I was a bit concerned since the store warranty only covered 30 days. The store owner recommended that I buy the Consumer Priority Service (CPS) for their 3 year additional warranty. I was weary of their 30 day warranty so I decided to purchase the additional warranty service. Our brand new washer machine did not work well from day 1, giving us a 1E code. It stopped spinning and kept flashing the error codes continuously. I stopped the washer and retried the rinse & spin cycle. It seemed to help…but then the same problem kept happening and nothing I tried to solve the issue worked to fix the issue. I first called the CPS company, but they told me to call the store first because it was still within the store’s 30 days warranty period.

I pulled out our receipt & called Smart Buy on Jan 26, 2015…well within their 30 day period. I left a message with the employee and he promised his boss will call me back. I didn’t receive any calls from them, so I called again the next day on Jan 27. Again, the employee took down the message. No calls. I called again on Feb 1st, 2015, Sunday… told that the boss is not there because it is weekend, but took down memo again… No calls on Monday. I called Feb 3rd again and complained extensively about his boss not calling me back.

Finally I decided to contact Samsung customer service on Feb 3, 2015. They arranged a repair service immediately and I scheduled for the person to come on Feb 9th, 2015. The repair guy explained that he needs to replace the computer board on back of the washer, so he left and came back within a week to replace the computer board that he ordered. The washer seemed to work better, but the problem still occur half of times...Desired Settlement: I am seeking for full refund of $1100.

Review: I have purchased a Samsung 4 Door Stainless Steel Refrigerator for $1550.00. After I received the delivery, I found out that the ice maker was not working. I called and the owner of Smart Buy Appliance to address the issue, and he said: "he will take care it in couple days." Since the purchase date was July 29, 2014 until today, I have contacted him over 4 times, and he gave me the same promises that he will come and fix it, but NEVER CAME!!! Right now, he's trying to iqnore my phone calls so he can run away from problem.Desired Settlement: I am seeking for full refund of $1550.00 plus $75.00 delivery.
