I'm a young single mother and recently moved out of my parents home I received my first income tax check and wanted to purchase a few items for my new place to live I went to Smart Buys Furniture at Rivergate Mall in Goodlettsville, TNand purchased a [redacted] dresser, mirror & chest I was excited, and the store was offering buy one, get one 50% off So with tax and delivery the total came to $(full weeks of pay for me) The receipt does say, all sales final, but I had never known or experienced "buyer's remorse" so I never expected to feel taken advantage of/ripped off/overpaidThe salesman made me feel as though I was getting a good deal - that was Saturday On Sunday I found the very same [redacted] furniture on [redacted] & ***, The [redacted] ***, [redacted] and other websites for HUNDREDS of DOLLARS LESS - I regretted my purchase immediately I contacted Smart Buys on Monday to express my desire for a refund but, MrH***, the Smart Buy owner, would not refund my purchaseAfter investigating this issue, I understand that there is no law - federal, state or local - that mandates retailers to have refund/return policies But whether Tennessee has a right of rescission law or not, consumers hope that retailers - in the name of customer service - and hard economic times - would at least consider relaxing their policies Not the case for Smart Buys Furniture at Rivergate Mall in Goodlettsville, TNI do not have hundreds of dollars in additional income to overpay for things that I need in my home Just do the right thing Smart Buys - refund please

The receipt does say, all sales final, but I had never known or experienced "buyer's remorse" so I never expected to feel taken advantage of/ripped off/overpaid. Loved my experience at Smart Buys when purchasing a bed. I required a specific type of bed due to a recent back surgery and the entire staff was very knowledgeable about my needs in a bed. And I stress how knowledgeable about their products with such a large inventory, these people are the real deal and will educate you before you make any purchase big or small. I also had the pleasure of meeting the owner (Dale) and again the entire staff was knowledgeable about brands and the specific product that I needed. They educated me as much as they did try to sell to me. I highly recommend this merchant for any furniture needs they even delivered and set up my purchase and again educated me on how to maintain and get the most out of my purchase. I 100% recommend Smart Buys!!!!
