Review: I was attempting to purchase a 2008 nissan altima. I applied for a loan through "credit acceptance bank" and was approved. the car is $9500, I was told that I needed to put $3800 down and that I could finance the balance. when I arrived to complete the paper work and make the down payment, the dealer presented a few hidden fees that weren't presented to me at any time during discussing the price of the car. one of the fees is a $595 dealer preparation fee which the dealer could not provide the details of what that fee covered. even with that fee, I was still willing to move forward with the sale. the main issue I have is that the dealer attempted to force an optional extended warranty plan to me through a company called "WEC". I advised the dealer that I was not interested in purchasing this optional warranty and he then advised me that I have no choice. he also claimed that the bank is the one that requires me to take this warranty. I checked with "credit acceptance bank" and was advised that it wasn't true. the dealer then insisted that if I don't take the optional warranty, that the bank would not allow him to process the loan. the loan was already approved without the warranty. please help me resolve this issue asapDesired Settlement: I would like to purchase this vehicle for the price advertised on the dealers website which is $9500 along with the loan that was already approved for me without any hidden fees and to NOT be forced to take the optional extended warranty that I don't need.

Review: On October **, 2013, I purchased a used 2008 Lexus RX350 from Smart Choice Auto Sales in [redacted]. This dealership had the car that I purchase, listed on cars.com. Since purchasing the vehicle I have had numerous mechanical issues. The most recent and most severe is the car has water leaking in from the top rear of the vehicle. When I first purchased the vehicle I noticed stains on the interior rear sides of vehicle, but just thought it was dirty. Now in hindsight, I realize this vehicle has had the issue prior. When I purchased the vehicle, my [redacted], told me the car had a clean carfax and the vehicle had never been in an accident. I took the vehicle to an autobody shop and they confirmed it had prior autobody work. I have been calling the dealership since December **, 2013 and have been given the runaround, as well as promises of a return call.Desired Settlement: I would like the issue repaired at the dealer's expense. The last phone conversation was in early February, 2014. I told [redacted] that I would be willing to bring the vehicle back to New York to an autobody repair shop of their choice.
