To whom this may concern, As explained to the tenant in a letter that was mailed to them with half of their security depositwe received the keys late from them therefore denying us access to the apartment, which led us to not be able to rent the apt to a potential tenant making us lose a months of rentas a courtesy to them we did return a half month of security deposit to them

2. On September [redacted], 2015, exactly 2 weeks before moving out we met with a realtor/representative that they sent, to give them our keys so that they could make a copy. Them not being able to show the apartment is false. They had a copy of the keys even before we moved out and let them know what they had access to show when needed. Also, the contract never stated that they could even use 'keys' and a means to withhold a deposit. We are owed 3/4 of our deposit back.

according to our records, we did indeed send out two checks for a total of $1550. on 11/**/2015. we have no record of them meeting with a rep of our company to return keys. in contrast we were not able to access apt for quiet a while until we got the key.s

Review: Company is withholding security deposit for not receiving keys 'on time'. The date in which keys need to be turned in, or penalties are not stipulated in the contract, and a representative of management/realtor received a copy of the keys weeks before moving out. They are evading their duty to refund our security deposit and resolve the issue by ignoring phone requests, ignores email requests, hanging up the phone when they realize we are the ones calling.

They mailed us what they consider to be ''half" of the security deposit, when in reality they have only sent a quarter of the amount when we are owed the entire deposit.Desired Settlement: That we receive the remaining three quarters of our security deposit.
