Per the documentation signed by our customers at the time they contract, they are not only informed verbally, but are also required to sign documentation that they acknowledge that any money put down on the home is non-refundable should the contract not be complete and the loan on the home closed
Each customer receives a copy of their documentation and contract at the time they sign Also, should they be unable to complete the transaction, they are may request for a refund of money for services not rendered We have copies of the documentation that Ms*** signed at the time of contract, as well as when she requested her refund Documentation of what work was completed for her was provided to her at the time of her refund request and she was refunded the amount for the work not completed While we do inform each customer that any deposits toward the home are non refundable, we do offer the opportunity for them to request a refund per our guidelines and each refund is reviewed on a case by case basis Also, should the customer purchase a home with us later down the road, any un-refunded amount is set aside for them to apply toward a new home with a new contract The money that is not returned to them is always available as a credit with us to purchase a home down the road Ms*** has been made aware of all of this and her signature acknowledging her knowledge of this is on the documentation that she has a copy of While we wish that we could have been able to complete the contract with Ms ***, it was something she felt unable to do and we respect her decision We are happy to provide copies of what was signed by Ms*** detailing our refund policy should that be requested

I showed the original docs to another Champion home dealer, and he stated I should receive all of my money back.  They did split the difference on the $3,000 that was held back for a non-tangible reason.  I am willing to accept this and have deposited the last check I received.  Thank you, [redacted]
