I dropped a suit off to be dry cleaned after recently wearing it for only the third time and when I came back to pick it up I noticed there was the same spot in it. So the lady said she would have them re-cleaned. Upon picking them up a second time I noticed a large damaged spot in the suit from where they had been asked to re clean and they clearly put too much on that area. I asked to speak to the owner and a small Asian women who did not give her name yelled at me and said it was not her fault and I had to pay and leave! I asked to not have to pay because it was damaged and she said nothing is free nothing is free. So now my $1,000 Joseph A Banks suit is severely damaged and she won't take the responsibility as the owner of the business that I paid to do a service and they damaged it.Product_Or_Service: Dry cleaning Desired SettlementI would like my suit to be replaced since its brand new and has been worn three times and immediately put back in a protective garmet cover. I am an honest person and I would like this resolved since it is not unreasonable at all

Complaint2 suits were to be altered and I received a written quote for $60 due at pick-up. When I arrived to pick up price was increased and was charged $80.I brought 2 suits to Dryve Cleaners on Timber Creek in Corodva, TN for alterations. I was provided a written quote and ticket that the cost was $60 and due at pick-up. When I arrived to pick up the clothes the attendant "[redacted]" informed me that I was mis-quoted and would be charged $80 and I could not get my clothes unless I paid the $80. I asked her why didn't they contact me for my approval to complete the work if I was mis-quoted, and she said she wasn't sure why no one called me. I informed her that I would have not agreed to that price and would have picked the clothes up and took them to another business. I tried to contact the manager from the store, but there was no answer after several attempts and I have not received a return call. The attendant refused to give me my clothes unless I paid the $80. I needed my clothes so I made the payment of $80; but this was not what I was originally quoted which was $60 as noted on my ticket.Desired SettlementI would like the company to honor the original quoted price of $60 and refund my $20. Because I did not authorize services to be rendered at that price.Business Response We apologize for the inconvenience and we will be happy to refund you $20. Please keep in mind that small extra charges can be incurred if extra work-not foreseen at the time of dropoff-is required by the seamstress to complete the work. This should have been communicated to you for your approval before the work was done and we apologize for the lack of communication.Consumer Response It has been over 30 days and I still have not received the refund of $20 as stated by the company.Business Response Please stop by the store at your convenience to collect the refund.

Smack brand new [redacted] dress shirt damage.Bought a brand new [redacted] dress shirt took it to sparkle cleaners on [redacted] to dry clean the wrinkles and creases. On 6/25/15 I delivered the shirt at the cleaners.The clerk told me it will be ready on 6/26/15. When I returned to receive my shirt didn't check it out because I thought they was trustworthy. I took it home and decided to check it and then is when I realize a discoloration stain on it,so I took it back to them so they can fix this problem they created. The clerk told me that they couldn't fix the problem because the shirt is damage which they accuse me of. Don't want any problems just want my shirt replaced.Desired SettlementMy smack brand new [redacted] dress shirt replaced.

They ruined my suede coat. It does not feel suede anymore, it feels like sandpaper! It also has white powdery spots all over it. I took my $400 suede Denver Broncos coat to Sparkle on Germantown Pkwy where they sent it to the Poplar location for cleaning. They never called me to let me know that it was ready for pick up. I called them, after three weeks, to find out it was there and that they completely ruined it! It does not feel suede anymore, it feels like sandpaper! It also has some white powdery spots all over it. They hung up on me several times while I was trying to resolve this issue. They are trying to say that it was brought in like that because they don't want to replace my coat. They didn't even refund me my $45 that I paid!Desired SettlementI would like $300 of the $400 it is going to cost to replace my damaged coat, as well as, a full refund of the $45 I paid them to clean the coat. Total $345

I had an issue with the cleaning service with one of my clothing items that could have easily been fixed with a simple re-do and I was told by the service worker it wasn't there issue. When asked for the manager's number to attempt to get a better response it was easily given. After the fact I realized why, [redacted] the manager obviously doesn't address issues or concerns either of customers. I left messages with no return phone call and it has been a week now. Then when googling the company to complete this form I saw a few google review complaints for them over the past two years, similar situations, similar practices, and the same response from the worker. The only difference in my situation and some of their situations, they actually had the girl in the location to call him so of course he answered the store's location but he too said, not my issue.
