Review: Reggie's Roast Coffee has NEVER done business with Smart Source Media, yet they have our company listed as a client. We had worked with Peerless Media group in 2011 and fired them for lack of performance or producing any profitable results for the money we spent believing all their double talk. We fired them in Dec 2011. They were bought by Smart source Media ( I hope there is a good return policy in place!) There is an email they used which was a promo I developed. All they did is make a pretty picture and are now using it to promote themselves.They in fact had no input on creating or making the email effective. They have a false case study which spans 8 months yet they only worked on our site for 4-5 months since it took them 6 months to build it. They said it would take a month, but it was CLEAR they had no idea how to in fact build one. The company they used to develop it has since gone out of business ([redacted])and Peerless closed the doors and skipped town as well.Now they have conned Smart Source into believing we were a good client of theirs and are using misleading information to garner new business for their new owners at Smart Source Media. They should have picked a client they DIDN'T [redacted]?I have contacted Smart Source by phone and email and still after months have this on their site which shows they have no regard for the way they are trying to scam business from people. No concern for legitimacy or accuracy of what they advertise.Hopefully this will be an impetus for them to consider playing clean and stop deceiving potential clients and remove Reggie's Roast Coffee from their website as we have NO AFFILIATION WITH SMART SOURCE MEDIA.Desired Settlement: Reggie's Roast Coffee as requested before on numerous occasions demands that Smart Source Media remove any and all sightings of doing business with Reggie's Roast Coffee as it actually never happened and is an improper use of our name and misrepresentation of Smart Source's Business. Simply put, take our company off your website.

Smart Source Media Group makes no claims on it's website or marketing materials that are incorrect or misleading. Smart Source Media Group (formerly Peerless) was not fired due to lack of performance, rather the contract term had expired and the two companies were unable to agree on revised terms.

The email marketing mentioned in the complaint is used in our marketing materials because it is a piece of graphic design that we are proud of, and generated memorable results for the client. Our job was to take the client's promotion (we can't set our client's product offering! That's their job.) and turn it into an email marketing campaign - which is what we did and why we stand by its use in our portfolio.

Unfortunately, when building a new ecommerce website, glitches/issues can arise. We understand the client's anger at the length of time taken to complete the website (although 6 months is inaccurate), but Smart Source made every effort to fix the situation - including going above and beyond our contracted scope of work, and offering an additional month of marketing at no charge.

Additionally, Reggie's Roast is mentioned in another area of our site which notes our Search Engine Optimization work for the client. This information is accurate, and backed up by research tools like Google Analytics. This information was also available to the client through their weekly and monthly reports.
