[redacted] On [redacted] , I ordered a pair of [redacted] Eye frame Model [redacted] from [redacted] who have an address in [redacted] , but I was surprised the following morning when they sent tracking information from [redacted] I emailed them right away to cancel my purchase as I did not order an item from [redacted] They did not want to cancel my purchase and they insisted that all of their items are authentic I thought it was deceitful to start with as I did not order an item coming from *** To confirm if the item I ordered is authentic I called the [redacted] head office in the [redacted] I asked if SmartBuyGlasses is their authorized dealerThe [redacted] Company said noSmartBuyGlasses is NOT their authorized dealerI confronted the SmartBuyGlassess but they maintained that all of their items are authentic Few days after, I received my package with the description as: "Eyeglassess" Custom value of $ [redacted] Dollar and NOT [redacted] Eyeglasses Model [redacted] as I ordered with the price of $ [redacted] The following day, I brought their [redacted] Eyeglasses Model [redacted] to the three of the biggest Eyeglasses frame boutiques in [redacted] The [redacted] Eyeglasses Model [redacted] from SmartBuyGlasses is a [redacted] item, a very good counterfeit item, but here are the differences as compare to the authentic [redacted] Eyeglasses Model ***: the weight, the gloss, the nose bridge size, the logo and other information engraved on the glasses, the authenticity card and the quality of the material [redacted] I returned my item, called the [redacted] card to file a complaint as it took them very long to issue a reimbursementI just received my reimbursement few days ago, and it is [redacted]

To confirm if the item I ordered is authentic I called the [redacted] head office in the [redacted]. I asked if SmartBuyGlasses is their authorized dealer. The [redacted] Company said no. SmartBuyGlasses is NOT their authorized dealer. I confronted the SmartBuyGlassess but they maintained that all of their items are authentic.

Few days after, I received my package with the description as: "Eyeglassess" Custom value of $[redacted] Dollar and NOT [redacted] Eyeglasses Model [redacted] as I ordered with the price of $[redacted].

The following day, I brought their [redacted] Eyeglasses Model [redacted] to the three of the biggest Eyeglasses frame boutiques in [redacted]. The [redacted] Eyeglasses Model [redacted] from SmartBuyGlasses is a [redacted] item, a very good counterfeit item, but here are the differences as compare to the authentic [redacted] Eyeglasses Model [redacted]: the weight, the gloss, the nose bridge size, the logo and other information engraved on the glasses, the authenticity card and the quality of the material.

I returned my item, called the [redacted] card to file a complaint as it took them very long to issue a reimbursement. I just received my reimbursement few days ago, and it is [redacted]

I would absolutely not recommend this company/website to anyone.

Reasons:

- They did not ship/deliver my glasses when their website said they would when I ordered them (said they would be delivered by Oct. 3rd. Did not receive until Oct 14th.)

- When contacted about this issue, they simply replied that they had only just confirmed that their SUPPLIER has the glasses and the supplier would be shipping to THEM before they ship to ME. When I purchased the glasses from them on the website, it clearly said "In Stock" which was obviously not truthful.

- The delivery of the glasses was supposed to be by October 3rd. The glasses did not come until October 14th. I firmly believe they would've come even later than that had I not sent multiple upset emails to their customer service .

- When they originally emailed me (Oct. 5th) saying that the glasses were "on their way to the distribution center" (and would be there by the 12th) one would assume that means it was heading to one of their locations as described on their website - USA, Canada, or Italy. When I *finally* received a tracking number for my package, it showed that my package was coming straight from Hong Kong. Clearly another untruth.

- On top of all the lies I was told by this company, the customer service was clearly sub par. I clearly said in an email "If you can do next day shipping with my package to me once you receive it then please continue to ship. Otherwise please cancel the order. Thank you." Their response simply was "Delivery time once item is shipped is 3-5 days to your shipping address." Nothing else. No recognition of what I had said about cancelling the order AT ALL. Just one example of their terrible service.


It's unfortunate that I had this awful experience with this company. I thought I had found a good deal when purchasing my new frames from them, however if I had known what an ordeal it would be to get my order in a timely manner I would have never purchased from them. I would've gladly paid *more* for my glasses at another company.

From order date (Sept 26th) to delivery date (Oct 14th) was a full 18 days/13 business days. Even their own website says that delivery time for Designer Sunglasses & Frames is 5-11 working days. Clearly they have a misleading website and don't practice honesty or ethics.
