My furnace went out during a cold snap and I called multiple HVAC providers in the area including several who earned high marks on [redacted] *** Some agreed to come out to give an estimate the same day SmartHouse went a big step further [redacted] who answered the phone was incredibly helpful, answered all my questions rather than tell me that I'd need to ask an estimator and she even gave me hard numbers for the replacement including labor The owner of the company, ***, came out and did the estimate the same day and was the only one who suggested that a load test would be a great thing to do before committing to a furnace in case the old furnace was mis-sized for the house He could do the load test the next morning, have the furnace installed that day and would stick to the estimate I'd been given over the phone I met with several other companies that day and all tried to upsell me items I know I don't need, none were getting me a furnace the next day, none suggested the load test, and none made me as confident in the company as [redacted] and SmartHouse did The next day ***, [redacted] and [redacted] arrived on time to begin the load test and install They were wonderful to deal with and worked hard to be sure the install was done correctly, the mess was cleaned up as they went, and they stayed until I was sure my furnace was working! I couldn't be happier with the experience and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone or to use them for other projects Just a great experience from beginning to end!
