My name is *** *** and I am responding to this complaint made against my companyThis is in regards to *** *** and we posted a bond for him at Franklin County Municipal court in the amount of When bond was posted mr *** had no holders or detainers so the bond went thoughBond was
signed and payment was received and the balance was signed as well to have a current payment planMr *** was not released from jail because his case was indicted directly over to the franklin county common pleas courtOnce bond is posted money is non refundableAs a courtesy our bonding company will re write the bond in common pleas court as long as the bond stays the same as it was in municipal court: in this specific case the bond was raised from to We explained to the client that we can re writeUp to but anything higher would be a new bondThe client was unable to come up with the funds to post a new bondShe wanted her money back on the original bond however again once bond is posted the money is non refundable We were more then willing to work with her on the new bond with a new payment plan however they found a new bonding company (*** *** bail bonds ) to post the bondWe have had this issue in the past from *** bail bonds where they have taken our clients and then convinced them to file complaints on my companyIf need be we can go back and review those specific complaints to showIn this situation I have personally spoke to the woman who made this complaint and she told me that *** *** did infact say she should file this Specific complaintAgain it is very standard where a bond is posted and that is finalWe always offer the opportunity to re write the bond and do our best to assist the clientIn this case we did nothing wrong but do our jobIf you should have any questions Or feel the need to contact me please do.
