Smeltz's Repair Service, Inc.

Review: I went into Smeltz's Repair service shop and asked them if they would tow my car and install an engine in my car. They said yes that they would do that. I aquired an engine as I was able to get one for cheaper than them. The engine was delivered to the shop the next day. May car was to be picked up the following week, on tuesday,my days off from work so I could be there for it. The day of the scheduled pick up I called around lunch time to find out when they would be there to pick the car up and the receptionist gave me the number of the tow truck driver. I called him and was told he wold be there in about an hour. Two hours or more later the truck showed up to pick up the car and off to the shop it went. I recieved a call on thursday informing me they needed some parts. I dropped off the requested parts after work and talked to the mechanic who was to do the work on my car. He said he wold get to it the next day. I told him that would be fine I was not in a big hurry, thinking it shouldnt take any longer than a week at most to have everything done. Two weeks go by and still I had not heard a word from them so I stopped in the shop to see if there was any progress and was told no that they got behind on things that they had appointments for and that my car was the next to go in. Another week goes by and still no word. I stopped in on friday to talk to them and the owner assured me the car would be done on monday or tues day. I gave them till that friday to check and still no word. I stopped and talked to them again and was told by the owner that my flywheel was warped and he ordered a new one, I was never informed prior to him ordering the part that it had happened. So now over a month later I am still waiting for them to get any work done or progress on my car. There is no longer any warranty on the engine as it has been more than 30 days since they have recieved the engine.Desired Settlement: To get my engine installed in car and back in my possession and be compensated for having to wait so long for them to even look at the engine that they had for almost week prior to the car being picked up.
