Car was purchased and described and excellent condition. Was told the struts have been replaced.
After local test drive discussed vibration and buzzing sound heard. Dealer indicates was only a normal condition of exhaust heat shields that is easy to fix.
After purchase, driving car on highway became evident there was more serious vibration in the drive train. Next day, took car for tire balancing. Tire pressure indicator came on way to the shop. Two tire pressure sensors were defective and replaced. Tires were balanced. Still had vibration in the drive train.
Took the vehicle to an authorized *** dealer for further investigation of vibration. Dealer found that all the tires were 'choppy' and needed replacing. Also, the brake rotor needed service or replacing.
Discussed these issues with SMG Imports salesman who became defensive and abusive. He would not take the vehicle back without charging me for the 1 day I had driven it.
Consumer came in with a friend who is a mechanic, he test drove the vehicle and during the test drive he complained about a rattle sound, it was confirmed that the sound is normal with the make of the car. The consumer and the mechanic friend were happy with the vehicle but wanted the car at a lower price which the business agreed with. After the consumer was happy with the purchased he called back after he had driven it home and was complaining about the breaks and tires. Wear and tear on a used vehicle is normal. The vehicle passed inspection before the consumer purchased the vehicle. As far as the TTMS sensor goes that is a light that cannot just be turned off. If that goes bad it has no be replaced.
