Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/11/16) */
*** dba *** has made claims against our company on the Revdex.com website, on his personal Facebook Page and his company Facebook Page that we shut down his site or that we own his siteThis is not trueWe have hosted his website
on our server since the spring of And, we have also managed and paid for the renewal of his domain name throughout the term of our relationship
Problems with our relationship with *** and his business are quite simple*** would not pay us in a timely mannerHis first year with us in 2010, he paid right awayAfter that, it went downhillEvery year, he would request to make incremental payments ranging from $to $The total amount we were charging for a website with he became a client was $per yearWe always accommodated his payment requestsHowever, in 2015, we sent him an invoice on 2/1/He would request changes on a regular basis, and finally after not seeing a payment at all, we said we would make no more changes until a payment was received
Months went by, and he would send Michelle nasty e-mails including profanityWe have copies of these e-mails, in case *** would like to have these shared on Facebook, as wellFinally, after contending with non-payment issues and his rude behavior toward Michelle, I said we are done with this clientAt this point, it became a mutual agreement*** said he was going to take his website elsewhereI told him once we received payment for this past year, we would provide the authorization code to release his domain to his new registrarAnd, we would provide all of his website development files to whomever would be taking over his website
We received a payment on 8/28/in the amount of $300, six months after he was issued his initial invoiceWe then provided him with the authorization code to transfer his domainAfter that, we were contacted by a person who said she was taking over his websiteWe told *** that he would need to work with her to transfer the domain, and that we would take the site down from our server effective 11/4/We sent all of the website files to the person *** was working with to take over his websiteWe had not seen any further progress made with the domain transfer, which was now in the hands of *** and his new website developer, so Michelle notified the developer that the site would be taken down on 11/4/from our serverThe new website developer responded by saying she didn't know what was going on with *** and that she had not received a payment from him so she was unable to proceedWe took his website off of our server as we had indicatedWe provided well over a months notice of this change to provide enough time for *** and his new website developer to make the transfer and get everything set up with his new providerBeyond that, we don't know how *** proceeded with his new providerWe don't own ***'s site, as he is statingWe have providing the authorization code for the domain transfer, and we have provided the files from our development of his websiteHe just need to find a new home for his site and get it up and runningWe are done working with *** for the aforementioned reasons
Since September 2010, *** has been working with Michelle at SMG Web DesignHe said he has been working with her for 2-years, because she convinced him to work with her and our companyNot trueHe originally started working with us in the spring of 2010, and we have maintained his website services, including hosting, domain registration, and website updates, ever since that timeSo, he has been working with Michelle for more than years
So, why doesn't *** (aka MrIntegrity) tell everyone on Facebook the truth about how he doesn't pay for services but then expects us to continue to provide services for free? I'm sure if he booked a gig for his DJ business and the customer didn't pay him in a timely manner over and over again, he would keep providing them with his services, year after year, without any concern for payment?
It would be nice to see *** tell the truth about what happenedIt is rare that any company ever chooses to discontinue doing business with a clientBut, in this case, not getting paid for services, and dealing with a client with erratic and disrespectful behavior helped us to make a decision that we would be better off if *** was someone else's problem
If there are further issues with *** and his apparent crusade to defame our company and any of our employees associated with his account, we will be seeking legal action and the truth will be shared in a much more public setting
All I have to say is this: ***, good luck finding anyone else who will provide you with hosting services, domain registration, unlimited e-mail space, unlimited site updates, and personal accessibility -- all for only $per yearThat is, of course, if you pay them
