[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Unless I am missing a part of the letter, the response from the cleaners simply reiterated what I wrote in my initial complaint and the letter served to confirm that we were unhappy with the work that was done If the response from the cleaners was to renew the offer of $to cover our expenses, then it is still being rejectedFirst, I don't read that the refund of $was being offered at this time, and second, that does not come close to covering our expenses We were ready to accept what was initially described as a change in the design of the dress that the owner described when we dropped it off but the actual alteration, the sewing itself, was poor work and could not have been worn after the owner worked on itWith the response from the business, I see no offer to remedy the situation at this time.Regards, [redacted]

September 24, 2014Dear Revdex.com:This letter confirms that this saw office represents Eun L** T/A Smile Cleaners with regard to the above-referenced matterOn September 15, at 9:AM, MrsL** received four items that needed to be altered by the same day from the customerThere were
three pants and one dressMrsL** did not have any problems with hemming the three pants but the dress was made of a very thin silk material that made it difficult to alterShe completed hemming the dress after three difficult hoursShe does not normally steam press alteration items unless asked and paid for, but in this case, she decided to steam press the dress as wellShortly thereafter, the customer came to pick up the four itemsShe described the process of her work to the customer, but the customer was not happy with the dress and asked for a refundMrsL** explained that she could not give a refund for the alteration ($85.00) because it had already been completedAfter a few minutes, MrsL** offered to give the customer a $40,refundBut instead it was decided that MrsL** was going to redo the workBefore the customer left, MrsL** explained two things: (1) she will do everything she can to alter the dress the way the customer wants it, but she cannot guarantee that it will be perfect; (2) it is difficult to mimic the design on the dress because it is made from a factory that uses a special machineOn September 16, 2014, the customer returned to the cleaners and picked up the dressMrsL** was not present that day, but she heard from her employee that the customer was not satisfied.Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.Very truly yours,*** *, Esquire

Unless I am missing a part of the letter, the response from the cleaners simply reiterated what I wrote in my initial complaint and the letter served to confirm that we were unhappy with the work that was done.  If the response from the cleaners was to renew the offer of $40.00 to cover our expenses, then it is still being rejected. First, I don't read that the refund of $40.00 was being offered at this time, and second, that does not come close to covering our expenses.  
We were ready to accept what was initially described as a change in the design of the dress that the owner described when we dropped it off but the actual alteration, the sewing itself, was poor work and could not have been worn after the owner worked on it.
With the response from the business, I see no offer to remedy the situation at this time.Regards,
