who is two years old, and was never seen by our office.Under an HMO insurance a patient needs to select a primary care dental office for the insurance claim to be processedIf the patient does not want to be assigned to our office as a primary dental office we would be able to see them as a cash patientWe have not mislead this patient at all; please read line three and four of his complaint which states that his son is assigned to another officeIn line Seven he clearly mentions that he refused to have his son assigned to our officeIf the patient, not the member, is assigned to another dental office it means that dental office is the primary office, and a primary dental office does not require a referral from us to be seenWe cannot write any referral without seeing the patient, because we have to write the reason for the referral.On behalf of patient we tried to collect the payment from the insurance companyIf the insurance does not pay for the claim it becomes the patient's responsibilityThe insurance told us to collect $from the memberThis member was advised to call the insurance company to discuss why the claim was deniedPer his insurance the responsibility of the balance of $is his.It is our mission to provide the best possible care for all our patientsWe take great pride in knowing we are helping all of our patients with their health and wellnessWe have not misled this patient's father; in fact our office has clearly explained to him, more than one time.As a courtesy we have adjusted $off of the patient's billThis will take care of his balance.Sincerely,Chris W.Office Manager
