I purchased an aligner treatment plan from Smilelove in March of this year and paid in full upfront. I received my aligners without incident and wore them exactly as instructed. When I reached the end of treatment, I had gaps between several of my front teeth. Gaps that Smilelove's aligners created!! My initial issue was overcrowding of my front teeth, not spaces. These gaps look terrible and make me completely uncomfortable with my smile. In addition, they are large enough that the tip of my tongue catches between my teeth causing sores. I contacted Smilelove and they agreed that my results did not match the preview I had approved before starting treatment. They informed me that my only option was to purchase additional aligners from them, with no guarantee that they will do the job I already paid for. This means that they could start me on an endless carousel of purchasing more and more aligners from them in the future. This lines their pockets, but it is completely dishonest. They entered into a contract with me to provide a service, with the results of that service being approved by me before paying. I fulfilled my end of the contract by paying in full, and now Smilelove is telling me that in order for them to fulfill their end of the contract I must pay them more than the agreed-upon price. I have been wearing my retainer around the clock for five weeks now, while trying to resolve this issue with Smilelove. They have failed to offer any reasonable solution, and have now completely stopped communicating with me.

First, I would like to apologize for the experience you have had so far. At Smilelove we believe in putting the customer first and it looks like we have failed to do that the past few weeks. Typically we have a superb customer service, but our rep that handled this ticket was not following our policy. In some instances we do have to charge $200 for refinement aligners if the customer didn't wear the aligners as directed or moved to fast with their treatment, but we can waive the fee if there is proof that you were complaint during the process. Since this has been conveyed so poorly, we'd like to give you the refinement aligners and waive the fee. Again, we are truly sorry for not living up to our standard with your case, but I'm having a customer service manager reach out to you right now to fix this. Hello I am submitting a complaint because I bought some aligners from the company Smile Love and I did not recieve the aligners. I called and asked for a refund as it states in their website that you can request a refund on packages that are not used but the supervisor said I do not qualify for a refund as my package was stolen. I have been contracting them for 2 months and they are not honoring their refund policy. I told them I do not want the aligners and they are telling me that they are still going to send them and if I don't want to use them I dont have to but they will not give me a refund. please someone help me I I payed more than $1300 for the aligners.

This falls out of our refund policy since we did create your aligners and ship them out to you. I am not happy with my purchase. This company hides their negative review online, I would know. They fail to tell you that they only give partial plans and then want more money. The aligners are cheap and don’t work. After paying for my second set of aligners which they wanted an extra $200 for, it has been 9 weeks and I still haven’t received my product. I’m livid. I wish I wouldn’t spent my $1500 toward Invisilign and a real dentist. Run!

The aligners I ordered and paid for in advance arrived 4-5 weeks after promised. I called and emailed with little response to my questions. When they arrived without any form of instructions to follow I again called, emailed several times with assurance that I would be sent an email introductory email with instructions on use. I never received any such email and was told I would receive soon. After going through the aligners on August 31st I noticed there are two trays bent and not able to be worn. I emailed with pictures and the weeks I would need replaced. I called 3 days in a row, leaving messages and an email address as stated to do on their message without a return call or email back. I also emailed 3 different times, given a response that my message will be given to a manager. I have received no communication as to a solution for these damaged trays. It has been difficult to get in touch with through the entire start of the process.

At the time, we had a massive influx in orders that we weren't expecting so our production team was backed up. Again, I'm really sorry for the delay and thank you for your patience.As for the instructions, every aligner package has instructions on the back, but we are working on including another insert to better call out the instructions. It did look like one of our reps responded with instructions, but again, we should have made it more clear.It looks like we have responded to all of your messages, but I do apologize for missing some of your phone calls. Our customer service manager has made it an emphasis recently to make sure we answer every phone call that we can. One of the best ways to communicate with us is through our chat button on our website. This company advertises a “Risk Free” service. They guarantee your money back if you’re not satisfied. However, after going through the molding kit 4 times with their team providing no useful feedback at all, they refused my refund because they said I have to first approve or not approve the preview. However they refused to send me a preview. Their employees offer no assistance as to what they need in order to send a preview; they just keep telling you to try again without telling you how to change anything. They owe me a FULL REFUND as promised in the beginning. According to lists on their Facebook page, they have ripped off many others as well.

Typically we aren't able to process a refund until the kit is approved and a treatment preview is created for you by our dental team. In your case, it was very odd that your kits were approved 3 times by our team and then disapproved by our dental team. Awful, you will spend lots of money, and spend months waiting before you receive your aligners. They lead you to believe it will be 3 weeks, but that rapidly turns into 6 or 7. Go with their competitor, Smile Direct. Im sorry I went the cheap route. Lesson learned.

03/20/2019 credit card was charged by Smilelove for purchase of dental invisible aligners. Since that date I've been receiving excuses about delays. To date 7/5/2019, aligners still not in production, still not received. Numerous emails, phone calls, text messages over the past 4 months and still no promise of receiving aligners. Replies to my status inquiries from their company are becoming more scarce. The comments on Smilelove Facebook show my situation is not unique (read visitor posts and comments). I paid full upfront to get special pricing. Have not received merchandise.
