We are mailing out a printed copy of the patient's xrays to her, with a note stating again, that an e mail of her xrays would be more diagnosticHowever, since she has written you to say that we haven't tried to call or e mail her, we will go ahead and mail her the printed copy and we have again asked her to call us or e mail us if she needs these xrays in an e mail format

Smiles Dental Group PC Cleveland Ave SE STE F Tumwater, WA Complaint ID:*** To whom it may concern: We indeed treat this family in our Tumwater officeBoth patients were seen in our office on 7/11/and received servicesThere was a secondary insurance error that
happened on our end for both patientsIt was corrected on 8/7/During this time we had to start the reprocessing of the claimsThis can take timeWe do have record of her requests to settle this account on 9/25/and 10/24/During this time we were reprocessing claimsWhen a payment has been made improperly the cleanup can take some time when dealing with two insurance companiesIt is unfortunate we could not meet the needs of this patient for the time line requestedThe patient filling the complaint has a secondary insurance coverage that paid as primary and this payment is still pendingThis was rebilled when we found the error after reviewing the account in AugustUnfortunately we had to wait for primary to pay to reprocess the secondary coverageSince this reprocessing is still pending we followed up on 1/9/and were reassured it is in the que for reprocessing from *** ***Once this reprocessed EOB is sent to us there will be another PPO adjustment on the account and this patient may have a smaller balance than estimated at Once the EOB is received the necessary adjustment will be made to her accountThe patient may have already received this EOB as the patients receive these at their mailing address up to two weeks prior to the business receiving the informationWe do bear blame for entering the insurance incorrectly but have made the necessary steps to get it taken care ofIt is unfortunate that this was not communicated well with the patient and this was the outcomeThis payment issue should be settled prior to the end of the month Sincerely, Juliana W*** Revenue Cycle manager Smiles Dental Group PC 360-562-

I am rejecting this response because: I am glad to see that the dental office is FINALLY accepting responsibility for their errors. I believe that, had I not filed this complaint, they would have done nothing; this has been ongoing for close to months now. However, the matter is NOT YET RESOLVED TO MY SATISFACTION until the bill is correct. The dental office says they will have the matter corrected by the end of the month; I will wait to see if that happens to my satisfaction

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because: They have not sent me the full set of x-rays as requested I will not accept anything until I receive these Because I am only allowed one full set of x-rays in a year period and I have an urgent problem that needs to be dealt with, I cannot go elsewhere until I have the full set of x-rays that Smiles Dental took and have not released to me Since they lied about being part of my network, I need these x-rays to go to another dentist to get the urgent work completed These x-rays belong to me and need to be sent to me for this complaint to be satisfied.Sincerely,*** ***

They took a full set of x-rays that I cannot have redone with another dentist for 3 years.  Because there is a serious problem with at least one of my teeth, I need these x-rays to take to a dentist that's actually in my network to get any work completed.

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:  First of all, they have NOT tried to contact me which is fine, I do not need to talk to them.  2nd, I have never received any email from them with my xrays.  So I don't know where they claim to have sent these xrays but I have not received them.  Until I do receive these, I cannot accept their response or close out this claim!Sincerely,[redacted]
