Smiles Moving

Nick and his friend Tim came to move my stuff to a storage facility on Saturday August 18th. I thought Tim was shady right off the bat. He wouldn't visit with you, he kept bragging about how great he was. Nick acted sympathetic and helpful. I asked Nick before we even started to not talk to my next door neighbor. While he was impatiently waiting in his truck to leave, I saw him talking with that neighbor. He then argued with me that the highway we needed to drive on was north when it was south of my house. I have lived here all my life and drive on that highway all the time but he made an issue about it. I purposely left a couple of sentimental items with some other things on the front steps that I planned to take to my new apartment. When I arrived home from the storage facility, they were gone. I assumed the next door neighbor had taken them. The second time Nick came over on Monday August 20th without Tim, I mentioned to him that I thought my neighbor took my 2 items and he said "Tim took those, I will call him to bring them back" He went on to say how rotten Tim had become; he didn't want to work and he had changed so much and was soured from the moving industry. Today is August 25th (7 days later) and I still don't have my 2 items despite Nick and Tim both living nearby. Now, Nick claims I gave Tim those items!! Those items were gifts from my late step-father and I would never dream of selling much less giving them away. Nick lacks integrity, patience, honesty and is a bully. It seems like he has issues in general with women by the way he was talking negatively about his live in girl friend and how abusive he was toward me. When we were at the storage facility, he demanded a cash payment. That was the first time he had mentioned to me that he wanted cash. Beware of Nick's Moving because he starts off charming and smiley then quickly turns sneaky.
