In regard to [redacted] fixing my driveway from holding water, which was done on 2/29/ After many calls they told my neighbor which also had her driveway done by [redacted] ***, that they would be out on Wed When they arrived at my house, I went out to talk with them I showed them where the water was standing He said he could see that and the only thing that he was told to do is put a sealer on it I ask him if that would fix it and he said no and at that time I told him that I did not want the sealer He said that he would go and call [redacted] and get back with me, which he did not.As far as the street being worked onIt was not done until the 3rd week in May, which should have nothing to do with the driveway Five days after the driveway was done, which was in March the water was back[redacted] ***Reply, Reply All or Forward | More

The sealer would have helped repel the standing water if we could have applied itIf our employee told the customer it would not help why did the customer not contact the officeCustomers mind was set on getting a whole new driveway for freeNo company warranties low spots on asphaltWe went above and beyond offering a free sealerWhy would you not take something for freeIf it didn't help you could still complain

I am rejecting this response because: Mr***, himself, told me he would fix the driveway completely. His invoice states: Dig out drivewayHaul off old asphalt. Repave entire entryway. This is telling me he has properly prepared the surface so the asphalt will hold up to every day use without it cracking or completely giving way. Again the problem started approximately weeks after job completed. MR*** IS DEFINITLY NOT A MAN OF HIS WORD. He told me several times he would fix the drive. That's all we want is for the drive to be fixed. If he is out of the state why can't he send his son, who works with him, to access the problem. And yes I did tell Mr*** if we can't come to an agreement we will take further action

*** *** I have never wanted a whole new driveway. My whole complaint was the bottom of the driveway that is still holding water, I was told when I purchased the driveway that the asphalt would stop the water from standing,, and it is still standing when it rains. Now as to why I did not call and talk to the owner after *** came with the sealer is because *** said that he would call *** and tell him and then come back and tell me what *** said. *** then went to my neighbors house and called *** from there and told my neighbor that they would be back on WedJune to fix the drivewaysI call *** that afternoon to see why they did not come and that is when he and I got in a big discussion*** biggest complaint is that he said he gave me a discount on the driveway. Which I appreciated, but at the same time he stood right in my front yard and told me it I had any problems to just call and he would be right back out. And as of today my driveway still is holding water

I am rejecting this response because: The surface was not properly installed. I am responding to this complaint because Mr*** told me on several occasions he would come and fix the problems. It would please me if he would come and look at the drive and he would see what needs to be done.

I did send a guy by to patch driveway but customer wanted entire drive replaced. I am out of state right now and can not come out to look at problem. Warranty is for holes not cracks or low spots. Also I did not install any base in driveway. We ripped out their old blacktop and replaced it with new....

My contract states if [redacted] asphalt service did not preform base work we are not reliable for problems resulting from faulty base. What Neighbors Have to say has nothing to do with this problem. I was told customer was contacting a lawyer and going about this a different way. Don't know what to do at this point.

Everything that was stated in contract was done on this job. The surface was properly installed. We did not dig out any foundation. Everything about foundation base work is stated in contract. Don't need to explain why I can't send my son out.

I [redacted] sent my crew all the way to houston tx over 100 miles away to pick up commercial grade asphalt sealer/filler. Last week they went to this customers house and they refused to let them put it on. They are wanting another layer of blacktop for free. The road in front of her house was just...

repaved by the city which made the road higher. I can't put another layer on every driveway for free every time a road is built up. Besides that there is no warranty on low spots. Every driveway and parking lot in the world has some type of low spot. The sealer I offered her for free was a 400 dollar value. She only paid 750 dollars for blacktop which should have been way more. There is nothing else I can do. [redacted].
