OKIE to have all of our properties marked for any public...

lines. As you probably know OKIE only locates
public utility lines that run between the power source and the meter. OKIE does not locate private secondary lines. It is the homeowners’ responsibility to have any and all private lines marked before any digging
occurs. A contractor has no way of knowing what secondary lines a homeowner has
installed. For the safety of the Red
Dirt Septic employees we would have liked for you to have informed us of this
private non-locatable line you had on your property. Unfortunately we were not informed and were
shocked when our equipment came across your unmarked line.We know this
caused a big inconvenience for you as well as it did Red Dirt Septic and we are
grateful that no injuries occurred to our employees during this process.
