On 8/19/13 [redacted] came to my house to repair the washing machine. This appointment was booked through [redacted]). [redacted] came and worked on the machine and said he needed to order a part. We paid him $118.50 and he said he would order the part, and when he came back to complete the repair we would pay for the part only since we paid $118.50 for his time already. The following week [redacted] came back with the part, and worked on the washer but was unable to fix it. He was unsure of what the problem was, and said he would need his boss to come. He said he would return that afternoon with his boss, and never returned. I called to follow-up, and he informed me that his boss cannot come, and he is unable to fix it. He promised a refund since he was unable to fix it. Since then I have spoken with him, the supervisor and the customer service number for [redacted] numerous times (at least 2x per week). Finally, on Monday, September 9th I was again promised a refund by [redacted]. I have yet to speak to the supervisor, but continually call. On Friday, September 13th I called since the refund has not come through, and was told by [redacted] that I will have to talk to his supervisor! I have been given the run-around multiple times by this company, and they have kept the money I paid, but admittedly did not fix anything, and wasted my time. In addition to the unprofessional manner Smith Brothers has acted in, every time I call [redacted] they simply say they cannot help. [redacted] did refund my initial $50 booking/diagnosis fee that they charged, but they are not assisting with resolving the additional money that has been taken from me with no solution. They have not stood behind me as their customer, and are not assisting in any way to resolve this issue with a contractor they sent to my house.Product_Or_Service: Appliance RepairOrder_Number: [redacted] Invoice NumberDesired SettlementI would like a full refund of the $118.50 that was paid since they did not fix the problem and promised a refund in full. In addition to this, I want to make sure the Revdex.com is aware of the actions of both [redacted] & Smith Brothers since they are acting in a very unprofessional manner, and are charging customers for services not provided.*Additional information- another company was able to fix it with no problem.
