3/13=Business called to explain this was a home warranty call, and customer had to pay the deductible of $whether or not their home warranty company pays for the repairCustomer's home warranty company did not pay for the repair as it was outside the coverage planThere is no refund available from the business, but might be from the home warranty company

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint I am requesting a refund because of the additional damage to my ceiling that was caused by a representative of Smith Mechanical, which has nothing to do with whether the claim with my home warranty company was approved or deniedI attached before and after photos of the damage to my ceiling as a result of a representative of Smith Mechanical Regards, [redacted]

Business said this was a home warranty callCustomer had water damage to ceiling prior to their arrivalThe $deductible paid to business is non-refundable whether the call is covered or not, per the home warranty contractCustomer's home warranty company declined the claim, it was not the
business's decision

Regards,
*** *** the plumber didn't full fill the contract he was to fix the leak from the sump pump but he didn't fix itHe lie to the *** and told them the pump was installed incorrectly but we know this not to be true because we hired a different plumber and he fix the problem within ten minutes and he further explained that the pump was installed correctlyThis leads me to one conclusion that he lied to *** so they wouldn't pay for the repairs and he could come in and charge much more further I think he was taking advantage of us because of our age my husband is This company never tried to contact as to solve this issueIt's my belief that they are responsible because they took the job from ***

Regards,
*** *** As indicated in my original complaint, the reason for the complaint is the ADDITIONAL damage caused to my ceiling as a result of the negligence of a representative of Smith MechanicalAs clearly shown in the photos I previously attached to my complaint, the water damage to my ceiling increased because a representative of Smith Mechanical was negligent when inspecting my shower for the cause of the shower leakThe time stamp of the photos correspond to the date and time that the representative of Smith Mechanical was at my propertyAs indicated in my original complaint, I am willing to accept a reimbursement of the cost of the additional damage to fix my ceiling to resolve this matterAlso, there was water damage to my coffee table as a result of the Smith Mechanical representative being negligent when inspecting my shower for a leakI spent the remainder of that night soaking up water from my carpet to ensure the carpet was not ruined as wellConsidering the large amount of problems caused by a representative of your company I do not feel I am being unfair in asking for a small reimbursement of the cost of the additional damage caused to my ceiling

David said he has seen the pictures. The ceiling leak was the customer's reason for calling their Home Warranty company in the first place; nothing his business did caused or aggravated the situation. It was like that to begin with. The customer is looking to recoup their $100 deductible. No refund available.
