I apologizeYour $deposit was never deposited when we received it from you initiallyThat was our mistake, as we normally deposit that check when we do receive itWhen I realized that we had not deposited your $security deposit, I went ahead and deposited itWe have just checked our statements and realized that we did not send you the $deposit refundI could not even tell how that flew under the radar, as we always return the security deposit back to our guests within the two weeks after their departureSince we did not hear from you asking about where your deposit refund was, I assumed that I did in fact send it to you and I just failed to deposit your initial security depositLong story short, I made the mistake on my endPlease accept my apologies for the debacleThat has never happened to me in the many years we have been renting the houseNo excuses here, just an honest mistakeNow, as far as remembering my anniversary, that is another story!
