I am rejecting this response because: Smith and Ramirez has been avoiding correctly this issue for over one year now. Enough time has been given to correct their horrible work. We are requesting a full refund as noted before. At this point in time we do not trust or rely on any word or work that they might offer. We have had over 30 shingles replaced in addition to having the ridge cap blow off in a wind because the wrong nails were used. We have not been happy with the work from the beginning and have been very very very patient with allowing them to string us along for 14 months or so now. Enough is enough. If they were really concerned with doing a quality job and making sure the customer was happy this would have been handled a long time ago. It has been one excuse after another...too hot now... not hot enough....we are letting the subscontractor do the repair... the subcontractor has gone out of business...etc etc etc. We didn't hire the subcontractor..we hired Smith and Ramirez and it has been nothing but excuses. There are still original nails sticking up under the new roof.... this roof is just horrible and one that any company should be ashamed of.We just wanted a good quality roof and we thought that Smith and Ramirez was going to be a quality company to do this for us. Nothing could be further from the truth. The entire roof needs to be replaced in order for it to be right. So looking at the roof again does absolutely nothing to correct the situation. So if Smith and Ramirez wants to do anything it would be to replace the entire roof was was agreed upon by Brian L. No looking at little issues...no beating around the bush. Full Refund or Complete New Roof is the only options that we will agree to.It has taken S&R long enough just to respond to a Revdex.com complaint...it is very obviously that the lack of concern runs deep in this company. Next step is to contact our attorney and the New Mexico CID inspectors. It is time for this madness to stop. This was a simple easy roof and it was botched big time and again it has been one excuse after another. This could have been fixed long time ago but it wasn't, the customer has been ignored, inconvenienced and put off for way too long.

The offer I made was a reasonable offer.  Are you the customer a roofing expert?  I am will to hire one who non bias.  If he says replace the roof, then we will replace the roof.  If he identifies issues than we will address the issues.  I apologize if you where inconvenienced , we fix the roof if it necessary.  We are willing to work with you.  Thank you for your business.

I am rejecting this response because:Are we a roofing expert? Very interesting you ask. I can expertly say that our roof is leaking in multiple places. I can tell you that we have been waiting for a resolution for over a year. I can expertly tell you that our ridge cap blew off in the wind. I can expertly tell you that we had to stop your crew from putting the felt over the original nails that were not removed (I witnessed them rolling the felt over those nails and the main roof field was still covered with nails). Over 30 shingles were replaced....against our wishes... because of exposed nails that I expertly found, not your company. Come on...I think the real question if "are you an roofing expert?" How could a simple ranch gable roof job be so horribly bad? How can you put us off for nearly a year an a half. We have been patient.... very patient.We called your office before submitting this to the Revdex.com and asked specifically to speak to Ty and Alex but no one cared enough to call us back and deal with this issue. it was only then as a final act of frustration that we contacted the Revdex.com.Since filing this claim and since our last response we went on vacation to come home to our roof leaking onto the drywall ceiling in the Kitchen, Front Bath, and Living Room. I have 62 years of experience and worked in construction, real estate and automotive and I had to climb into our attic to try to stop the leaks. So at this time that has been much more damage to our home from your "expert roofing job" that we have asked to be fixed or replaced numerous times over the last year.At this point there has to be water and possible potential mold mitigation.. not just fix the roof.We have agreed to let your Independent Roofing Inspector come and look at the roof. He will be here tomorrow morning Aug 23rd, 2017 at 10:30 am. We invite you to join us in this inspection so that you can see the roof your self... since you haven't made an effort as of yet to see our complaint. Let us see how an expert roofer handles the year long complaints of a dissatisfied customer.
