Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: There's no need for me to authorize release of my medical records because I have already responded with a detailed and accurate account of what happenedThis is by no means a vendetta against anyone This whole issue arose because my pet had to suffer for a week because this clinic was so defensive and inflexible that they would not work with me the owner in trying to administer the correct medication antibiotics for my cat's URIUnfortunately due to the personal attacks this business is making against me and my shopping habits, I don't feel safe that these people would have my best interest in mind when releasing my cats medical recordsThey obviously feel a need to spend more time attacking me then just resolving this matter professionally and getting back to the business of caring for their clients that they have not yet fired Regards, [redacted] [To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, the consumer must give a reason why they are rejecting the responseIf the consumer does not provide a reason the complaint will be closed Answered]

While we strive to work with owners and help their pets, this owner would not allow us to help her or her catShe did not follow the instructions and treatment plans given by our veterinariansShe would call to tell us that her cat was having a medical emergency, but that she did not want to bring the cat in, then she would call back a few minutes later to tell us that the cat was fineShe called more than five times a day with new symptoms and medical problems that she noticed and demanded medical advice and medications to treat those symptomsThe owner even attempted to call anonymously with questions about a hypothetical patient to see if she could get a diagnosis over the phoneThe owner was advised to bring the cat in multiple times, and refused to do soShe was very rude to our staff members who were trying to help her and accused them of patient neglect and abuseAfter the owner repeatedly hung up on us while we were trying to speak with her to help her cat, we decided this client relationship was not workingShe was informed that we would no longer be able to provide care for her cat and sent her cat’s medical record so that she could seek veterinary care for her cat elsewhere

It is unfortunate that this client is being unreasonableIn her response, this owner openly admits that she hung up one of our staff members who was trying to help her and her catShe makes many statements in that response that we could refuteOur hospital staff carefully documented this owner’s cat’s visits to our hospital as well as all phone conversations with herUnfortunately, patient medical records are confidential and cannot be submitted to support our case and defend ourselves without permission from the clientWe would be happy to submit them to the Revdex.com with the permission of the clientIf the Revdex.com would like to look into this client’s documented behavior with other businesses, we encourage them to look the Google reviews that she has posted of other businessesShe posts reviews as “angel G.” She has posted reviews to date and has given star reviews to all but of themShe has also given another veterinary hospital in another state a star reviewTo us, this indicates that the client is a bully, is difficult to work with, and is looking for a reason to be unhappy about the service she receivesThis client is being vindictive because she is upset that she was fired

I am rejecting this response because: This response from Smith Vet is completely and inaccurateSaying that I refused to bring my cat in was a lieIt was due to their incompetence that they said bring her back in a second time so they could try again which I didThey failed to prescribe antibiotics which would clear up her respiratory infectionI discovered this by contacting a second vet who said ask Smith to prescribe antibiotics so I had to call back yet againIt was during my request for the antibiotics and my concern that a third trip to the vet would be unwarranted and contraindicatedThe owner became frustrated with me and I ended our conversationThe lie that I hung up on her several times is them being unprofessional and obviously defensive None of their account of the facts are accurate.Regards
