I am just writing to you to express my disappointment with my experience with your site I just received $in gift cards from parents and relatives of students in my class through a fundraiser I was amazed and appreciative of these gifts and quickly registered the gift cards and began shopping Even though the looking at your site and noticing much of the product was too pricey and could be purchased for less through other venues, I decided to use the money to purchase some books for my classroom library The point that disappoints me is the extreme shipping cost associated with my book purchase I purchased books with the gift cards but had to pay $in shipping I seriously doubt that those books are going to cost that much to ship This is such a scam and I feel like you are taking advantage of the parents and relatives of our students by trying to sell them gift cards to help classrooms and charging hefty prices for the actual products and then adding additional fees for shipping For Example: DrMr [redacted] - Your Price: Other Source: Your Shipping: (only because I had other products) Maniac McGee - Your Price: Other Source: Your Shipping: Holes - Your Price Other Source: Your Shipping: I am going to be talking to my principal about this situation and be recommending to her that she find some other fundraising opportunity that is more local and is not such a scam I will also be looking into the Revdex.com and possibly lodging a complaint of some kind

REading for Education or Schoolstore.com helps schools with fundraising Their marketing claims are false They claim that you are saving almost half price by buying a magazine subscription from them and 50% of the revenue goes to the shcool In majority of the cases the subsciption price for magazines is much smaller than what they claim it to be

I am a high school math teacher. I ordered things from [redacted] .com, which indicates it has the same address as "Reading for Education, LLC". After placing the order for a few supplies, I the confirmation indicated the following: "You should expect to receive your books within 21 business days. You should expect to receive products and school supplies within 6 to 8 weeks. You should expect to receive your magazine subscription(s) in 6 to 8 weeks (depending on the frequency of publication)." I think 6-8 weeks is an excessive time to deliver a few school supplies that are readily available from Amazon in a few days. Prices at [redacted] .com appear to be typically 30-50% above what I might pay from other sources. I saw a few things listed at very reasonable prices. The site has many offerings that are more suitable for school-wide acquisition than an individual teacher. I would hope that an activity to promote reading would find a better way to benefit the teacher than this one. I would rather not receive gift cards for this site in the future. There are very few things that I want from this site.
