The store and the Employees are wonderful, it's the people in charge of the store and it's workers. I can't tell you how many times I have complained to the store and to Smiths and Kroger by either Phone calls or emails. I went as far as writing a formal letter directly to Kroger. I believe they just sweep it under the rug so to speak and it just seems to be over looked. Now I went into the store to get the names of the actual names and positions of the people I'm complaining about. [redacted] store director a bully, he yells and screams on the floor in a degrading manner. I have heard him call his employees less than desirable names in front of customers. He needs to go back to management training for a refresher course. I once witnessed him yell at a employee across the parking lot during the holidays in a very threatening manner " he would fire his as" in front of a very busy parking lot full of customers which got a lot of attention. I have witnesses him kicking boxes out of anger and hitting the walls with his hands when speaking to his employees as if he was a 5 yr old that didn't get his way. He should not be allowed to even work with the general public without sedating him first. And I believe, unfortunately they people that work directly under them are working out of fear because I've seen their attitudes change over time as well. Poorly Managed store, you shouldn't be able to treat other people this way it makes for a hostile working environment and brings down moral.Desired SettlementReplace your Management Team at once. This is the only way to keep this store thriving. Our little town just got its first [redacted] and will be opening up a [redacted]. If you allow this man to run your Business any longer. Expect your customers to run to the competitors. Business Response I can tell you I have been the store director here for over 3 years. I have yet to recieve anything from Smiths or kroger on issues with myself or other management. Smiths practices and open door policy, meaning if an employee has issues with there supervisor, they can take it to the next level, and then the level above that, and so on. If there ever was complaint on myself, it would go to my district manager and my disrtict HR coordinator. I have leadership feedback results from my employees the last three years. The score is from 1 being the best and 6 being the worst, I have scored 1.39, 1.42, and 1.37 the last three times. My stores employee survey scores last year were and 85 on employee engagement for this location. Our customer service scores rank the highest for Smiths in the Reno market as well as in the top 10 of the Smith's division. I have also attendended many training classes in my tenor as a Smiths store director.Final Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)Like I stated its a typical practice to sweep it under the rug. I will be shopping at the competitors and will extend that to my family and friends. Their is no room for the abuse I have witnessed and no excuse. Hopefully the employees will have better options once the other store opens. Everyone deserves respect.

Smiths weekly ad showed a picture of three stuffed animals 31 inch for 9.99 . I found three of the product but was told they weren"t the ones.The store employees couldn"t find any of the "right ones" or the place that they had been in. This is on the second day of the sale.Desired SettlementI want one of the Pandas and one of the Elephants delivered to my home on or before Valentines day 2015 Saturday 14 February. ( no charge )Business Response also I recieved the letter after Valentines day.Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)Smiths has not accepted any responsibility for their actions and inaction. This is not the first time something like this has happened, but is the first time I said anything. The way they advertise should be illegal as they get you in their store by offering something they don't have. I went to 2 smiths stores that day, drove 40 miles and received nothing but a load of crap for my trouble.
