get it for free. These people have a reputation of going out to eat and complain about food so they get it for free and then brag to people about it. I will not waste my time to worry about them. Review: On July 9th I called Smith's Sanitary Septic Service after being referred to them on [redacted]. I explained to the lady I had a cracked inspection port and wanted an estimate for the work to fix it. After giving my name and address she was very rude and said I lived too far away they couldn't help me, then told me to wait and put me on hold. Back on the phone she explain how they just happen to have someone on a job in my area ([redacted]) the next day and he would stop by and look at the cracked pipe. She said they would call and let me know after he had looked at it.

I never received a call from them and went on a scheduled vacation. When I got back I found a letter from Smith's Sanitary Septic Service which contained an invoice (#[redacted]) for $75.00 "labor charge". Comments state "driver stopped to check inspection port & how to fix - 6" terracotta, needs dug up and replaced with plastic"

The lady on the phone NEVER mentioned any charge of any kind for an estimate. The letter I received is a bill for work, I did not authorize any work of any kind. I did not receive an estimate which is what I called for and was agreed upon over the phone.Desired Settlement: This charge needs to be removed immediately, my estimate for work provided and both communicated to me in writing so there is a record of both. This practice is unfair and unethical.
