Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted] , and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: George Parsons roofing has photos as do I before and afterPerhaps they did not provide after photosI find them calling my home, which I paid over M FOR is delapidated when in fact it is A+ CONSTRUCTION according to mynassaupropertyYes it was time for a roof replacement but Parsons could have easily told us OUR HOME WAS TOO DELAPIDATED for him to work in My husband and I listed to him when he suggested the roof was the first item on a list of items we were planning to do as improvementsHe could have declined the job but did notWhat he did was improper installation, a rush job, I would like my photos to prove that NO PLASTER OR WATER WAS IN MY HOUSEMY CEILINGS ARE SAGGING, I HAVE NO ELECTRIC IN PART OF A ROOM, DUE TO WATER FLOODING THE ROOM AND HIS WORKERS BRINGING BUCKETS WHICH WERE FILLED WITH WATER FOR DAYS WHICH I EMPTIED AND WHICH CAUSED CONSIDERABLE DAMAGE TO MY HOMEHIS WORKER KEN STOLE MY PERMIT AND HE TOLD MY SON I WAS HARRASING HIM BY CALLING AFTER HE DISAPPEARED AND HIS SECT CAME UP WITH EXCUSES TO AVOID USAGAIN HE SHOULD BE EXPOSEDDOES PARSONS HAVE PHOTOS OF OR MENTION THE MOLD WHICH I DISCOVERED AND CAN PROVIDE THAT WAS CAUSED BY WATER IN THE WALLS AFTER HE REFUSED TO ADDRESS IT? AS A ROOFER WHO IS EXPERIENCED, LIKE PARSONS IS HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN CONCERNED THAT MOLD WOULD MOST LIKELY OCCUR AFTER A YEARWELL, IT WASAND IF I FIND MORE, WHICH I EXPECT TO FIND, WHEN THE WET CEILINGS ARE ALL OPENED, I WILL ALERT YOUPERHAPS HE WOULD LIKE TO ADVISE HIS INSURANCE COMPANY OF THAT In order for the Revdex.com to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above Sincerely, [redacted]

The roof that we installed was done properly just like the other roofs that we have installed over the past 40+ yearsThey had some ice damning on a flat roof that we did which caused a small amount of leakage into one room in their homeWhen they called we quickly ran over that same day and
brought some buckets to catch the waterIt was not much water at all There was maybe a quarter of an inch to a one half of an inch of water in a few of the bucketsMy men then went on the roof at no charge and spent hours chipping away the extremely thick ice that had formed on one of their flat roofsWe later installed an oversized drain on the flat roof at our expenseWe also installed a new flat roof against our better judgement because he insistedI only did these items to avoid the situation we are at nowThese are things that we wanted to do to go over and above for our customer as we always do which is why our reputation is so good At that time *** *** asked me if I would pay for the damagesI explained to him that we are not responsible for ice damning but because there was so little damage I'd be glad to paint the affected areaIt was a small area of the ceiling that we all agreed needed to be paintedAs time went on they kept claiming there was more and more damage and leaking that was occurring but never called during inclement weather to let me see the leaking like they did for the first leakThey would only want to show us damage that they claimed was caused by the leaksThere were not any other roof areas that leakedAll of the other damages they were claiming to be caused by us were existing cracks and peeling paintDamage that was obviously at least 15-years oldThere was not any damage to any other items in their homeI handled their phone calls and issues so quickly that *** *** told me I am the most professional contractor she has ever dealt with and she would like for me to do a seminar in front of all of her real estate associates and she was going to try and get me a lot of business as her way of saying thank youAs time went on they kept bringing up more issues that were pre-existing and that's when I told them that it would be best if they dealt with my insurance company because I cannot pay for pre existing issues*** *** responded by saying "that is a great idea because I am very good at dealing with the insurance companies"After a long expensive investigation by many insurance adjusters and my insurance company they have found that the damages that *** and *** *** are claiming were all pre-existing other than the small area in a ceiling which was caused by ice damming re

Please see my responses in CAPSThese attachments, and I have photos which I would like to send to you are accurate assessment of the damages that occurred after the new roof was installed(THE *** HAD MY OFFICE NUMBER AND CELL PHONE NUMBER AND WE RESPONDED TO EACH AND EVERY CALL AND EMAIL UNTIL WE REALIZED THAT THEY KEPT COMING UP WITH MORE AND MORE DAMAGE THIS IS WHEN WE THAT IT WAS BEST THAT THE *** DEAL WITH THE INSURANCE COMPANY*** *** AGREED THAT WOULD BE BEST THE *** KNEW THAT WE WERE HANDING THE ISSUES OVER TO THE INSURANCE COMPANY AND TO DEAL WITH THEM FROM THAT POINT ON BECAUSE EVERY TIME WE SATISFIED AN ISSUE THEY WOULD COME UP WITH A NEW ISSUE I FELT I WAS IN A NO WIN SITUATION SO WE BOTH DECIDED TO HAVE THE *** DEAL WITH THE INSURANCE COMPANY.) I was told NOT TO CONTACT PARSONS as they told my son that I was harassing them by calling every few daysI then asked my son to take over and he was directed to call Herb L*** from *** *** and I have emails where months went by and *** L*** was trying to negotiate a settlement for months with Parsons and *** *** but could not (MY FIRST RESPONSE COVERS THIS ALSO)I finally got my insurance carrier involved who sent two engineers and an inspector who saw mold and felt wet insulationParsons refused to take my calls and I expected them to take any responsibiltyTheir claim that they were not notified when I have copies of tests and e mails send and answered by them and my having to chase them is what happenedThey are solely responsibilty and have three insurance carriers who this claim should be handled by(THERE WERE NOT ANY ADDITIONAL ROOF LEAKS BESIDES FOR THE ONE OVER THE LIBRARY THAT WAS CAUSED BY EXTREME WEATHER CONDITIONS WITH THE WINTERS DEEP FREEZE) Please ask them why they named *** *** who is located in Albany as the roofer of record with GAF(WE HAVE A RIGHT TO SUB CONTRACT OUT OUR ROOF JOBS WE STAND BEHIND OUR WORK IF THERE ARE ANY ISSUES WHICH IS WHY OUR REPUTATION IS SO GREAT WE ALWAYS HAVE IN THE PAST AND WILL CONTINUE TO IN THE FUTURE THIS IS THE FIRST TIME THAT WE COULDNT COME TO AN AGREEMENT WITH A CUSTOMER AND HAD TO HAND THE ISSUE OVER THE INSURANCE COMPANY THE *** AND I AGREED THAT WE WOULD LET THEM DECIDE IF ANY OF THE DAMAGE WAS CAUSED BY OUR ROOF INSTALLATION OR NOT AFTER A VERY LONG AND THOROUGH INVESTIGATION THE INSURANCE COMPANY DECIDED THAT THE DAMAGE WAS PRE-EXISTING I HAVE BEEN IN THE ROOFING BUSINESS FOR OVER YEARS AND KNOW WHAT OLD AND/OR NEW DAMAGE LOOKS LIKE AND WHAT OLD DAMAGE LOOKS LIKE AS WELL I TOLD THE *** WHICH WAS WHICH BUT THEY CONTINUED TO PUSH TO TRY AND GET ME TO REPAIR DAMAGES TO THEIR HOME THAT HAVE BEEN THERE FOR WELL OVER YEARS THE INSURANCE COMPANY SAID THE DAMAGE WAS PRE-EXISTING ALSO I DONT KNOW WHAT ELSE TO DO) My floor crew witnessed everything and will testify if front of a mediator or attorney if Parsons provides one (THE FLOOR CREW WOULD HAVE WITNESSED US DO A ROOF JOB THAT WAS DONE WELL AND IS NOT LEAKING) Feel free to publish all of my statements which are accurateParson and *** *** should be exposed to the public, so I am respectfully requesting that the media contact me(THE *** SHOULD BE EXPOSED TO THE MEDIA SO CONTRACTORS KNOW NOT TO WORK FOR THEM)*** *** did not file their insurance, workmen's comp or disability to The Village of Kensington.(ALL NECESSARY PAPERWORK WAS FILED BY PARSONS WHICH IS THE ONLY ONE THAT NEEDS TO BE FILED AGIAN, WE DID NOT DO ANYTHING WRONG I CANT BELIEVE WHAT IM READING *** *** ASKED ME TO REPLACE THE WINDOWS ON HIS HOME MONTHS AFTER THE WINTER HAD PASSED BECAUSE HE LIKED HOW WE CONDUCTED BUSINESS SO PROFESSIONALLY I KINDLY SAID IN SO MANY WORDS THAT I WAS NOT INTERESTED IN DOING THE JOB AND *** *** UNDERSTOOD HE SAID THAT HE UNDERSTANDS THAT HIM AND HIS WIFE ARE NOT EASY TO DEAL WITH.) Parson NEVER said that they were not going to do this jobI paid Parsons and their contract stipulates a year warrantee on workmanship and labornails per shingle, not or were also stated on contract and required by GAFTheir accusation that any attempt was made by my husband or I to have created this damage is a lie(I DONT THINK THAT THE *** CREATED THIS DAMAGE, IT HAS BEEN THERE FOR YEARS DUE TO A LACK OF MAINTENANCE ON THEIR HOMETHE ENTIRE HOUSE IS DILAPIDATED AND FALLING APART THE DAMAGE IN THEIR HOME IS WHAT HAPPENS TO ANY HOME WHEN REGULAR MAINTENANCE IS NOT KEPT UP WITH.)

Please be advise that I had two engineers examine the damagethis week, as well as professional and licensed contractors, floor company, electrician and paintersI have witnesses that were in my home the day that the roof was installed, a crew who were refininshing my floorsThey were here the week before, during and after Parsons, who never disclosed that they would not be doing the job, but *** *** would, will testify that there were NO LEAKS OR ANY WATER FROM THE CEILING OR HIGH HATS until a few days after the roof was installedThe contractor that was , *** *** here disappeared after he asked me for full payment and left men who spoke no English on my roofThey were not allowed to be on my roof, as they did not provide any mandatory documents ie insurance, liability, license, workman's comp to the VillageThe Village will be notified by me, and *** *** will be required to provide proper documents and an explanation from *** Parsons as to why they hired someone else without filing Kens insurance and other docs to the Village of KensingtonThe buckets were delivered by Parsons with their ID on them and are still in my possessionThey were filing up daily and had to be emptied with pots as they were so heavyI will be forwarding more photos of the damage and Parsons bucketsAt no time did anyone represent that any past damage which is clearly visible yet dry was caused by themParsons examined my entire home prior to taking this jobIt is an outrage that they claim 1/4-1/in of water was in a few bucketsThey brought over a dozen buckets and saw water pouring out of my high hats, in the kitchen, breakfast roomTheir attempts at masking the damage from outside didn't workI have some shingles from the job and they appear to be secondsI also have a warrantee from GAF that Parsons provided with another company who I spoke to and is in Albany, never heard of Parsons but was named as the installer of my roofThis company is called *** ***, and wants to know why Parsons put a them on the warantee when they were never at my homeGAF was notified as wellRegardless of what old leaks occurred in the past which were repaired and dry, NO WATER SHOULD COME IN THROUGH FLAT ROOFS OR HI HATS WHERE THERE ARE NO GUTTERS LOCATED ON THE ROOFThere were large cs of plaster which were found by me in the gutters and liters which were the cause of the ceiling falling in breakfast roomTHERE WERE NO GUTTERS OR LITERS ANYWHERE NEAR THE PANELED LIBRARY WHERE THE HIGH HATS FELL, BUT THERE WERE OPEN SEAMS AND BUCKLINGI understand that GAF Does not recommend roof installation in cold and inclement weather as the materials do not cureGAF and Parsons requires nails in each shingle, when I have at most I would like to see the receipt of where they purchased the shingles, if in fact they are the ones I orderedPARSONS WARRANTEE STATES I HAVE YEAR WARRANTEE OF WORKMANSHIP AND LABOR. And year warranty of shinglesI have every thing documented and can provide proof to you. Regarding Parsons statement that leaks were old, when a new roof is installed there should be NO LEAKS ANYWHERE regardlessHomeowners like me understand that a roof, like everything else has a usable shelf life, and that is exactly the reason for why I paid top dollar to top dollar to ParsonsPlease have them read their contract where they stated that year warantee on labor and workmanship
