region. WE offer discounted pricing to further assist customers who may not fail the smog test due to their vehicle being newer in production. Most cars pass the test but every so often cars come in with failures due to cracked hoses(Fuel Evaporative System line in which yours was cracked). Any hose that has a crack is clearly referred to and as defined is defective according to state guidelines. This is deliberately why you failed your Visual Inspection Per State Guidelines. Per State Guidelines, we also conduct the emissions test and also functional checks on Emission related Modules in which you can also fail in any of these categories keeping you from passing the Smog Test as a whole. As a customer you are definitely welcome to look under your vehicles hood anytime to find defective hoses and replace. I became aware of your defective hoses and requested them to be replaced per state guidelines. However, we cannot give a free retest for the coupon price as it was designed for people who pass with one smog test. In essence, you needed two smog test, and as a business we cannot offer free services and cannot survive off giving free smogs and this is why our regular price smog for this vehicle was $79.99+ certificate if issued upon passing the initial smog test.Now If you feel you should'nt have paid for the second smog, I encourage you to come in for a refund as it is my duty to give the best customer service and welcome you back Sir.
