ON April 1st, customer did place an order for us to ship to the AVS validated billing address [redacted] Lemoore, California, ON April 2nd, Saturday, customer did attempt to contact us to request a change of delivery address Our customer service hours are Monday thru Friday 8am - 7pm EST and we were not available to address this request until April 4th On April 3rd however her order was processed for shipment and we were unable to pull the order to change the address, and UPS Does not allow for the shipper to make changes to Surepost deliveries, nor can a customer change the delivery address of a Surepost package However, these options are available for a UPS ground shipment and customer would have needed to upgrade the package to UPS Ground before any changes to delivery address would have been possible As stated on their website at https:// [redacted] .Can a UPS SurePost package be upgraded to UPS Ground? Only UPS My Choice® Members or Premium Members can upgrade a UPS SurePost® package to UPS Ground.UPS My Choice Members can choose to Automatically upgrade UPS SurePost packages to UPS Ground Select individual packages to upgrade Use UPS My Choice Features for packages upgraded to UPS GroundOnce a package is upgraded, Members and Premium Members can use the features available with their UPS My Choice Membership to reschedule or reroute deliveries to The UPS Store® or a UPS Access PointTM locationAnd packages upgraded to UPS Ground typically arrive one day earlier.Note: UPS My Choice® Premium Members can choose to upgrade all UPS SurePost packages to UPS Ground for freeUPS My Choice Members will be charged an additional fee to upgrade to UPS Ground Upgrade requests cannot be changed or modified.Customer was informed of this and was requested to use the UPS My choice service to upgrade the package to UPS Ground UPS tracking shows no evidence of customer having done this Even if once upgraded UPS would not allow the customer to change the address, the package still would have needed upgraded to UPS ground before we could offer any assistance to change the address We did offer the customer to reship her order at no additional cost to her if she was able to have the package refused and returned from the current location and would reship to whatever address she chose, but as it currently stands, her order was shipped to the AVS validated billing address which is the requested delivery address that was on her placed order We cannot offer any further assistance until such time as the product is returned to us from the delivery location

We understand that your order was not delivered to the address you intended, but we did make every attempt to assist you in changing the delivery address, however UPS does not allow for changes to the delivery address of Surepost shipments, either by the shipper or the receiver You would have needed to upgrade the shipping with your UPS My Choice program in order for any changes to be made to the delivery address and UPS does not show the service having been upgraded on the shipment so that changes to the delivery could have been made We apologize but without return of the package that was delivered to the validated billing address for your order, which was the shipping address on the placed order, we are unable to provide replacement or refund for your shipment, unless the package which was delivered to the billing address is returned We apologize that UPS limits our options in being able to resolve the issue while it was in transit, but based on the current information, there is nothing more we could have done to change the address while the package was in transit
