Further to my email dated Nov1, in which I gave you an outline of the list of problems that I had experienced with Roanoke River Cabinetry, the company and it's owner MrBlake Moore I also gave you a list of the issues that MrMoore has to resolve. As per my message to you today as to the delay in sending the checks, MrMoore has confused me with all the different bills he has sent meSame Invoice No***, same dates, but with different amounts He has mentioned a $discount in his Sept6, email to me but only after he upped the price of the counter topsHe tried to fool me with the $discount only to take it away through upping up the price and mentioning the 10% discountI am going to forward you the different bills, so that you can see what he has doneHe has not taken into account the undelivered fillers. This is what I am goins to do:Enclosed is a copy of his original Invoice #*** dated June 14, for the total amount of $ This included the customized cabinets, the fillers, the assembly of the cabinets, the customized counter tops and the delivery chargesMrMoore came and measured for the counter tops after all cabinets were installed and in placeMrMoore took measurements on August 3, Due to several delays, many due to Roanoke Cabinetry, the counter tops were not delivered until August 9, Even then there were missing undelivered piecesWe discovered that one counter top was short in depth and the side splashed did not have the rounded edges like the others so I immediately called MrMoore *** returned on Sept9,to fix the side splashes, damaging the walls and leaving a mess.I was charged for fillers at the rate of $per fillerFive fillers x $= $(See original invoice)However, MrMoore did not deliver piece (missing) and then he stole a long piece (filler pieces) from my property and then when my installer called him to ask him where that piece was, he came back with one shorter piece, several days laterSo I was charged for fillers but only got in totalWhen MrMoore refused to take responsibility and delayed the delivery of the fillers, I went to *** and purchased what they had in stock.I paid him for everything except the counter topsI am deducting $from the final remaining balance of $as per the original Invoice No*** (dated June 14, 2016) for the three undelivered/stolen fillers, leaving a final balance of $675.71.Enclosed are two cashier checksOne for $(#***) and one for $(***) for a total of $675.71.If MrMoore is unable to resolve the issue with the short depth counter top then I do not want him paid for itI have checked with *** and they are able to make me the same counter top piece for around $200.Kindly keep me in touch with the update on thisMrMoore has wasted so much of my time and my installers, with these matters and it has cost me more than the $that he claims that I owe him! In the court of law, I would have been able to counter sue him for damages, delays, wasted time, harassment and stalking by phoneThe events and issues that have occurred are so unbelievable to the rational mind.I have tried to work with MrMoore but all he has done is to be ugly and refuse to accept responsibility for his actions.Ms*** Tel###-###-####

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved. However, MrBlake Moore continues to speak about issues that do not concern him and I have asked him to stopE.gthe hardware installation has got nothing to do with himHe is also asking why it has been a month He is not my site contractor and he has this nasty habit of acting like one and talking down about other contractor's work I have already reported this in my complaint. He needs to supply the installation guide that comes with these types of cabinets.I would also like him to furbish the name and contact details of the contractor that he says I owe $2000, as I would like to resolve that issue to
I do not wish to meet MrMoore on my own on my property and will arrange for someone else to be there to meet himHe can communicate by my email addressI do not give him permission to communicate by my cell phone or text messages.Any day this week from Wednesday - Friday between pm and pm should workIf not, we can do the same days and times next week
Regards,

At this point I don’t want to have contact with Mrs***.She is holding me legally liable for someone else’s work RRC did not install the cabinets or countertops, therefore we should not be held responsible for a failed installation.I don’t want to continue with someone who is threatening to sue me Therefore I will not be going there to make any changes to the installation.I will ask that the Revdex.com return your cashier’s check if you agree to ask the Revdex.com not to publish this complaint

I'm so sorryI promise to send *** an email tomorrow

As per my telephone call to you last week before the Thanksgiving break, you informed me that MrMoore was on break for Thanksgiving I told you that the checks were mailed to you on Nov9th and in Revdex.com possession on Nov10th Mr Moore has had sufficient time to at least let me know what date he has scheduled to do fix the issues with the counter tops The stalling on his end is 'pure vindication/revenge' As he has said multiple times, it is a simple fix So why has he not informed me/you of when he is planning to do this As I told you, I am losing rental income as we await for this issues to be resolved. Here is what I am going to do:If I do not hear from you about when MrMoore intends to resolve these issues by Monday December 5th, I will be filing for damages legally MrMoore has cost me money in time and damages and I will resort to legal procedures to recover this.I thank you again for your support with this.Ms***

MrBlake is using untruthful comments to justify his lack of business ethics. I had asked him to stop texting, but he continued. I have the evidence of many many text messages that were sent to me, after I had asked him to stop. Messages with snide remarks were also sent to me after pmThis had nothing to do with the issues but were sent, just to harass me. Again I have evidence of thisI don't owe anyone any money. He is making up a story about an unpaid contractorAs a contractor, you run into sub-contractors who do not do what they have been paid forI have run into one or two issues out of at least contractors. Any issues if any were handled in a civil mannerAgain, I do not owe anyone any money. MrBlake was paid 50% as a deposit and was paid the balance asap as soon as the cabinets were deliveredThe issues with the counter top were conveyedHe did not take the right measurement for a kitchen that was customized. The counte rtop is shorter in depth and it has nothing to do with the installation When his worker came to replace the side splashes, he took a huge wall chunk off at the same time! Rather than take responsibility for it, MrBlake said that my original installer had used too much glue! When I told him that his installer also left a mess on the floor, he said that the mess was already there! When I told him that the drawer bases were lop sided, he said that it was up to my installer to make the adjustments. I told him that I had paid him extra already to put the cabinets together and did not understand why my installer had to make the adjustmentsI have never met such a liar, as MrBlake. Many times, I told him that I was not lying about things that I could provide evidence for. MrBlake wanted me to hire him for the installation and when I did not, he made rude comments about my installers work. My installers have been paid, as they did the best with what MrBlake provided. My installer, got on the phone with MrBlake several times about fillers and cabinets to try and resolve the issues.MrBlake is also a thief! He charged me for fillers and then when he came to drop off a base door, he walked out with a inch filler, saying I did not need it. I stood aghast as he loaded it in his truck. When I asked him about it, he said he would come back with another smaller piece!. I had to go to *** to buy more and have receipts for it. Delivery was awful! No inventory listWhen I called him about the missing fillers, he said that one of my men must have stolen itThere were so many other valuable things to steal at the property, nobody was going to walk out with a 'filler'He was unable to deliver materials when needed and we lost almost two weeks of installation time waiting on missing pieces to be delivered. Fillers were not delivered on time and neither were the base units. Then when I called for the base unit, they delivered the base unit but forgot the doors to itMrBlake also called me about other things he believed that he had delivered to me by accident, like the bath faucet, and then said that he found them. The counter top should hang over the base cabinets or be flush, which they are notI have spent alot of money to remodel the entire kitchen and I am disappointed that the counter top, which is one of the selling features of the kitchen is not rightI told MrBlake that I was going to have to pay someone else to finish off the counter top to make it rightHe told me to take $dollars off, but I believe that it will take moreHe is not following the civil way to resolve issues and has texted me at 8:pm (after I had told him to stop texting) to threaten me with 'mechanical lien'.I don't believe that the $is going to remedy the problem.

Lop sided drawer doors - I could have that adjusted in less than a minute This is an installation issue These issues are easily resolved by a qualified installer. Countertop width - That is standard countertop depth at inchesHer cabinets underneath are inchesThe wall isn't straightWe can easily fix this Everything can be fixed Damaged wall - Once again, easily remedied.Side splash with damaged wall - This is nothing but the old side splashes that were removed by my employee so that we could get the right splashes installed. Lop sided drawer Drawers not shutting - This is a simple adjustment that needs to be done by the installerDoors have to be adjusted after the cabinets are installedI could go in and take care of all these issues in less than an hourLopsided drawer base unit - Simple adjustmentThe hinges have a five way adjustment setting on themAll those could be adjusted and made rightThese issues are nothing uncommonIt is a simple adjustment neededLop sided drawers - All of these drawers and doors could be Adjusted, everything could be handled quickly It has been almost a month and the hardware is still not installedWhy didn't the installer finish the job? If we installed cabinets, we wouldn't have this situation because we would have adjusted the door and drawers and installed handles and knobs In this case, we will adjust the doors and drawers this time only to make it right even-though, it is an installation issue that we were not hired to do She needs to place the payment in the hands of the Revdex.com as a sign of good faith and if everything is addressed, then payment can be made from the Revdex.com

Unfortunately, most of what this customer has written isn’t true.  I knew nothing about warped or lop sided doors.  If there is a problem, we are happy to make any necessary arrangements to find the solution and achieve it.  The counter top wasn’t measured wrong.  The installer...

did not install the counter top correctly.  The customer hasn’t told me to stop texting.  We have been texting each other since the project started.  The customer has hired people who do not know what they are doing and  wants to blame the products.  There isn’t anything else to complete.  We have finished the job and also have been back to install new pieces for the counter top in order to satisfy the customer.  The customer has been complaining about things which are irrelevant in order to achieve one goal, and that goal is to not pay the balance on the invoice.  The customer owes another contractor money for work completed and has used similar tactics to not pay $2000 to the contractor.  I pride myself and the reputation of the company on being ethical, honest and professional.    Unfortunately, this customer wants to use tactics to avoid paying the $800 owed on the counter top.   We are always interested in achieving the highest in customer satisfaction with our customers.  Customer satisfaction is the absolute number one priority of Roanoke River Cabinetry. We have so many satisfied customers because we offer great quality products, great service at prices which often times save homeowners thousands of dollars.
