Me and my uncle went in today he was going to sell his guns but they didnt offer him enough. so we went home got a ladder and a microscope to take in we got from hauling trash for people. well I gave them my ID and the lady(OWNER) said have you been in trouble with the law before I said earlier 2000 . Well she said we dont deal with crooks and said im not dealing with you our your uncle because youve been arrested for a burglary , she announced this to the whole store. She did a criminal background on me for the ladder I brought in to sell. Then announced my record to the public. The thing that makes it bad is my uncle is over 60 never had a bit of trouble in his life she said because hes with me hes not allowed to come there either. I left out then walked backed in to hear them talking [redacted] about how im probably still stealing and discussing my criminal record publicly with people in the store. I gave these people no reason to treat me that way. We were very polite and gave them no reason to think the stuff was stolen. But she looked down on me from the time I came in. How can they get away with running a criminal report on me for trying to sell a ladder then announcing it to the public. I never took them stolen stuff. Never what I did years ago is the past. I live my life to the fullest and have even hauled some trash off for a knoxville police officer. I just cant believe they talked [redacted] about me and told my poor uncle whos a hard working elderly man they wont deal with him because he knows me. They run merchandise by law through the police department. they shoulda let the stuff be ran like the law says instead of humiliating me and my uncle publicly. They dont run a criminal check on everyone either. They just did that to me because I have long hair. I never gave them a reason to think the stuff was stolen or I was a thief. They shouldnt be able to run a background check because I want to sell a ladder and they certanly shouldnt be able to announce my record to the public. If they though I was bringing in stolen property they should let the police do their job and run the serial numbers as all pawn shops do. Or if they thought I was bringing in stolen stuff should have called the police. My uncle gave them a card showing he hauls junk for free for people. I still have the ladder if you guys at the Revdex.com want to run it please feel free.
