So I got a apartment in Sacramento back in sept do to unfortunate circumstances And pass trouble I ended up in the slammer my kids father came to stay for a few months and care for the kids he controlled my direct express card that pay for rent and food for kids. Needless to say he had to switch utilities because I had never gotten the chance any who April comes and I’m able to return home to my kids my apartment I haven’t had the chance to enjoy . So mike moved out a few days after I get home and I check my mailbox and there’s smud and cable bills I call like you have balances and why isn’t my lights in my name ???? I wasn’t going to be gone forever. Anywoo he was gone and his been in control of expenses now I’m left with a empty card 4kids so I called got my cable switched and my smud switched also I asked about previous renters and they said balance would be sent to collections but someone would probably contact me with more questions information fine I left contact number the give my new account number and life continues 4days later I get a call that my lights will be shut off for mikes bills and I need to find him to pay ???? WHAT I’m seriously confused I feel I’m back on trial for a crime I wasn’t even here to commit sure it’s my apartment my lease why am I responsible for his negligence
