Our agreement with the client started in November 2011 and ended in April 2016. The work performed included design and hosting of three websites and redirection of five other domain names to their primary site. Agreement was signed by the owner agreeing to monthly maintenance for a fixed fee of $350...

per month, which broke down to $120 (3 x $40 per each website) hosting and yearly registration fees, and $230 for seo/website updates, which often included total re-design of whole sections of the website. Design and updates were performed in a timely manner, as soon as the required information was provided by the client.  Additional work was slowed by the customer not providing the frequently requested content and information about their products, the constant changing of product due to other vendors discontinuing services with them, employee turnover within their company, who were responsible for working with us.It was only when their monthly payment became two and half months past due, and repeated attempts to contact their company via phone, e-mail, and personal cell phones failed,  did we suspended their websites. The next day the owner showed up and was upset, paid his past due, and stated he was transferring the websites. We worked with the new provider and transferred the websites as requested. The website in question still ranks in Google and other search engines the same as when the sites were transferred away. SEO (Search engine optimization) is done within website content and cannot be taken out without completely removing all the website content, which remained the same at the time of transfer.

Review: I paid this company over $17,000 for a website and hosting the site. When I decided to end my service with him due to lack of performance and asked that all of the site work be sent to the new service provider he sent everything but the SEO work that I paid him for. This took him more time to do and was done out of spite. Our agreement was that I would receive everything that I paid for. Now I have to pay for it to be done again. He first didn't do his job and now he went out of his way to do me harm. Worse than stealing!! All I ask is what I paid a lot of money for or a refund of half of what I paid.Desired Settlement: I want the SEO work that I paid for sent to me or a refund of $10,000
