SnackNation Reviews (%countItem)

Snack nation is saying I agreed to prepay for their snack box until September 2020 when I was under the impression it was month to month agreement.
I agreed to a month to month payment agreement which I was under the impression I cancel at any time. I no longer would like to receive snack nation products. The products are marketed new, healthy, and a great price deal. The products can be found at grocery outlet for usually the same or half the price being sold by snack nation.

Desired Outcome

I would like to no longer be billed by snack nation after 4/1/2020.

SnackNation Response • Apr 10, 2020

's issue has been resolved and her SnackNation account has been fully cancelled as of April 2, 2020 upon her request . There was initially a mix-up when referencing her account with us, which we have now clarified. Attached is the interaction documenting her request and full cancellation of her membership.

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
I am hoping their response with an attachment of our personal email exchange which contains my private email address is not publicly posted.

I ordered a subscription for $134.95 and have received only one box. Asked where January box was, and they will not correct the situation.
I ordered two snack box subscriptions in December as Christmas gifts. One from Snack Nation, and one from Love with Food. I have a charge of $134.95 via Paypal on December 3, 2019 to SnackNation. Love with Food is charging me monthly. When I made these orders I had ZERO idea that they are, in fact, the same company. Apparently Snack Nation acquired Love with Food in 2018? January came and went and although I received the Love with Food box, I did not receive a SnackNation box. I contacted them and the first said I didn't exist, and then said my delivery was delivered and sent me the postal tracking number. However, that postal tracking number is for the Love with Food subscription, not the Snack Nation box. They keep putting the blame on me, asking me if my name is my "real name", suggesting that I have multiple emails, telling me that they can't call me because they "don't have a phone number" when I provided it. Poor customer service, impossible to reach, they won't contact me except by email and now I'm worried that this is a scam as their business emails to me have grammatical errors, often a sign of a scammer.

Desired Outcome

I want a refund of the $134.95 minus whatever it cost them to ship me the ONE box I received from Snack Nation. I would also at this point, like to cancel the Love with Food subscription, as they have lost my trust.

The issue stated here by customer, ***, has been solved already internally. *** filed this Revdex.com complaint prior to speaking to our customer representative. Attached is the final in a series of communications between the SnackNation rep and *** in which *** displays her satisfaction and requests to remains a customer.

Sadly, my CLEAN snacks were FULL of added sugars and gums. For the most part, the snacks are not at all what I would consider Clean or Healthy as promised on the SnackNation website; "Tasty snacks always made with real ingredients and no added sugar or chemicals." The first snack I opened, Appleway Oatmeal Bar had all of the following in the ingredients list: Sugar - Corn Syrup - Invert Syrup - Molasses AND Fructose (Really!). I ordered the Family Plan which was supposed to include 25 Snacks - I received 20. I was really hoping to love these guys because they do donate meals to families in need. I just can't eat all of this added sugar and I wanted the 25 snacks as promised. If you really want healthy snacks, you may want to look somewhere else.

We appreciate the candid feedback from one of our members and have contacted her directly to gain further insight into the experience and where we have the opportunity to improve our standards and processes.

We take Ms. Haynes' comments seriously and haven taken immediate action, which entails a full audit of SnackNation's websites and marketing material as well as our snack procurement guidelines to ensure each snack abides by our strict 73 banned ingredient list.

Unclear Subscription terms, and denial of cancellation for consumer satisfaction agreement that was promised, even after a payment was fulfilled
Signed up with a sales rep *** on 6/28/19 on the phone to try a 3 month trial with SnackNation Nothing was mention of a required 3 months of payment, and a cancellation at anytime if I did not like the service was promised.

I gave my payment over the phone payment of the first *** Shorty after I received the product, I did NOT like the product was not happy.

Explained this in an email 7/9/19 That I wish to cancel the subscription, no response. Followed up on 7/10/19, received a response from *** saying he would not honor the satisfaction agreement that I was promised.

Instead after replying that I DO NOT wish to continue their service, *** completely ignored this request and instead attempted to sell me a different method of payment for the product (bi-monthly instead).

I then replied and requested again to not have my service with snack nation continue any longer. *** continued to insist on not stopping any more payments as requested.

On 7/19/19 my final response:

*** I was never told it was a contract and I would have a satisfaction guarantee over the phone, I am not satisfied I DO NOT authorize ANY more payments. You will not receive any. I would not have tried Snack Nation otherwise. Please advise."

On 7/28/19 I was then charged another *** which I did NOT authorize

I then called my bank, and had a stop payment, which left me no other choice.

It was then shipped with "XXXXXXXXXXXX" Via FedEx I refused the package as I did not want this product nor did I pay for it, and the merchant as well refused this package.

Snack nation then attempted to charge my card again which it did NOT go through as a successful payment

Snack nation went ahead and sent me another box regardless of the payment going through or not, Even though I wished to not receive anything else form Snack Nation,

This was shipped under FedEx tracking No "XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX"

Which I then denied the package, as I did not request nor want any products or services from Snack Nation

I am then receiving notices of collections from Snack Nation requesting payment, even though I did NOT accept the products nor payed for them, as requested I DID NOT receive any charges nor products from snack nation.

Snack Nation is Demanding *** payment and threats of putting me into collections

I have proof that I did NOT accept their products after the first month that I DID pay ***

I will provide any further documentation proving I DID not accept the products

Desired Outcome

I wish and demand that snack nation does not contact me again about any payments or notice of collection, and ultimately drop any payment requests or threats to have me put into collections. As I did NOT accept any products from Snack Nation after the first Payment and after I received the first product box, I do NOT owe Snack Nation anything.

SnackNation Response • Nov 19, 2019

I sincerely sympathize with ***'s dissatisfaction with our product although he did commit to a 3 month agreement. His 3 month agreement was for June, July and August and is fully paid with a $0.00 balance.

Please see attached screenshots of;
1. ***'s agreement to the 3 month commitment
2. Support ticket in which the SnackNation rep attempted to help the situation by offering a lower cost solution, as well as ***'s denial of knowing about a 3 month commitment (which is obviously not true pertaining screenshot #1).

Customer Response • Nov 21, 2019

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
This is an unacceptable response, I did not accept your products as they were refused and sent back, I do not owe snack nation a thing.

I have paid the first month upfront of the amount of ***

I made it clear I was NOT satisfied I reached out for weeks explaining this I tried your "Trial" I did not like it, I should not owe snack nation if I did not accept their products.

All this is evident in the tracking numbers, if you check the history they were refused as I stated I did not want any products from snack nation but were sent any way

It was told to me on the phone by *** I can cancel anytime which is the only reason why I agreed to the trial and I requested to stop for weeks until I was forced to take action.

I STRONGLY feel I am being strong armed into owing a company for products I did not want nor have.

I was sold under false pretense for the trial, as I never would of signed up if I knew Snack Nation would go after a small consumer so aggressively.

I demand to not be harassed any further, and to be taken off of collections from Snack Nation for a product I did not receive nor wanted.

Here's the two products that were sent without my consent and were refused and were not accepted.

The very first shipment was accepted and paid, for the trial but after I explained snacknation was not for me, was not satisfied and requested for weeks to cancel I was sent these two shipments that were refused.

Tracking No X: XXXXXXXXXXXX

Tracking No X: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

If you expand the history on both of them you can clearly see the package was never delivered to ***

I demand to not be harassed any further, and to be taken off of collections from Snack Nation for a product I did not receive nor wanted.

SnackNation Response • Nov 21, 2019

Upon further investigation with Finance, there is still a balance for ***. The last invoice owed was INVXXXXXXXX and due to numerous attempts to reach someone for payment was sent to collections.

And although *** did agree to a 3 month commitment via written email (screenshot provided with original response), SackNation will be removing *** from the collections list and will not be contacted any further.

I appreciate a resolution could be reached

Snack Nation failed to send me my September 2019 snack box.
My complaint is earlier this month I expected my monthly smallpox tracking number and tracking information So I emailed Snack Nation then after two days in that email I explained that I haven't received the above and then I also told her getting my monthly snackbox was something I looked forward to every month. I was told in an email that since I missed doing the survey in August my box was going to be nine dollars and ninety nine cents in September 2019. I missed doing the survey in August 2019 because I'm caring for a disabled mentally ill son. I'm also disabled myself and caring for him takes ALL MY TIME. She *** respond back my saying that she could see where I was charged. I was and STILL looking for my food. By the way, this us the second time I've been through this within the last year and a half. I'm tired of being overlooked and forgotten.

Desired Outcome

Or least the food I didn't get.

We are so glad to hear that *** enjoys the snack box. It is accurate that she did not receive the stated snack box shipment, however it is because she did provide a payment to purchase the snack box.

A customer can purchase our snack box for *** if they fill out a survey. Or pay *** if they do not wish to fill out a survey.

*** was not charged any amount of money and therefore was not shipped a snack box.

I have attached images of billing and support ticket responses;
1. ***'s billing statement for non-payment
2. Support Ticket #1 & #2, ***'s complaint of not receiving her snack box as well as SnackNation's support rep response regarding non-payment.

I sincerely feel for*** and would be happy to help remedy the situation. It appears to be a mis-communication that we would love to correct.

SnackNation has been charging me for a sample box subscription for 2 months. They have not responded to my attempts to cancel.
I have subscribed to Snacknation's monthly sample box for several months. The past two months, I did not receive the box I pay for, yet I was charged for both boxes. After the first failed delivery I contacted Snacknation in attempt to cancel through the contact form on their website, which is the ONLY avenue of communication they make available to their customers. I even googled their corporate number and that turned out to be an automated line that pointed me back to the contact form. So I filled out this contact form and waited and no one ever got back to me. The billing cycle came around again and I got billed AGAIN for a box I didn't receive. They make it impossible to cancel and are not providing the service they agreed to provide... but they're still charging for it.

Desired Outcome

Snacknation needs to keep a directory of their "snack concierge" local contacts on their website. Or they need to centralize their customer service and give their CS department control over customer accounts. A contact form and a "we'll get back to you when we can" (never) is not enough for a paid subscription service. Snacknation will cancel my account and refund me the past two subscription fees immediately.

Customer wrote in on March 26, 2019 and said she hadn't received two boxes
SnacNation rep requested to get customer address updated because USPS had trouble forwarding it, but she said she hadn't moved
Account was cancelled on March 26, 2019

I have no idea how this company got my card information. I received a box in the mail. I tried to login using the email address I had received an email from but there is no account. I have tried to call, to email, basically any form of contact and have never heard anything back, while my card continuously is charged each month. I have moved and can't even change the address to which the boxes are delivered since I can't seem to cancel at all. I contacted my bank and they said to cancel through the bank the company has a $30 charge attached, which is ridiculous considering I have no account with them in the first place.

Customer wrote in on Jan 21, 2019. Account was cancelled by Jax on Jan 21, 2019- before the case was opened on the Revdex.com site.

Purchased subscription gift for Mother. Product did not arrive and tracking shows it was sent to wrong person and address.
I purchased the 6 month subscription box service as a Christmas gift for my Mother in December 2018 and expected delivery to my Mother's address in Canada mid January 2019. The product has not arrived and the tracking information provided indicates that it is being sent to the wrong name and wrong address. I have attempted to contact the company by email. My Mother has attempted to contact the company by email. I have called and left a voice mail on their support line. We have not received any response from the company indicating that they are looking into the issue or that they intend to resolve the issue. At this point I am convinced that I was the victim of a scam.

Desired Outcome

I would like the purchase price of $107.94 plus the $23.94 shipping cost to be refunded to me immediately.

SnackNation Response • Oct 16, 2019

SnackNation did not receive any communication from this customer, if we had then we would have happily obliged. Are we able to confirm the email and phone number they attempted to reach out to?
We can reach out to this customer and rectify any discrepencies

The 5th time we told Snack Nation not to contact us, we sent this email to Darren & Austin:

"We are STILL receiving marketing calls from Snack Nation and you need to cease and desist immediately. We did not want to do business with you before and now we will never, ever do business with you in the future. Do not reach out to our company or its employees. Do not call, email, message on LinkedIn, or in any other way continue to contact us or harass us with your incessant pestering. Show yourselves, your business, and us a little respect."

Ten days later we got yet another call from a sales rep.

If Snack Nation were an ex-boyfriend, I'd have a restraining order against him. If I walked naked through a frat party, I'd be harassed less than Snack Nation has been harassing me.

Don't do business with these guys.

Charging me for a product I don't want.
I've requested Snack Nation to stop sending and charging me for their snacks. They keep sending it to a company I no longer work for and the Administrator said that she sent the boxes back. They never reimbursed me for it. I finally had to call my bank to put a stop to this.

Desired Outcome

I want to be reimbursed for the past 3 payments and to never be bothered by this company again.

SnackNation Response • Oct 16, 2019

We have no record of this customer reaching out to the company nor any returned shipments therefore we did not have the ability to know of a refund request
SnackNation would have refunded this customer if we had received a request
This customer cancelled the CC on file and was no longer being charged

This company does not provide what they promise! The snacks are gross, not healthy like they claim, and you can't choose what you want. You pay an expensive price and you get ***! And, to top it off, you can't just cancel because you have to commit to 3 months worth of their nasty snacks! Never order from them! Can't wait to cancel!

Company refuses to allow cancellation of services.
Our office subscribed to the SnackNation service for 3 months with promotional pricing. After receiving our first box, we knew that their offerings were insufficient for our employees (not enough food even though we were told it would last 10 work days; only lasted 4). We contacted them to cancel our contract and were informed that it would be impossible to cancel until after the 3 month contract was completed. The immense expense of the subscription coupled with the small quantity was ($275 for 4 days of snacks) was too much for our company to bear. The terms of the subscription were also not sufficiently emphasized during the initial communications with SnackNation. They left me feeling as though I could cancel at any time even though this was clearly not the case. I understand that it is our responsibility to fully understand and be held liable to the entered agreement, but the fact that the company is not even willing to listen or make an exception is unacceptable. We are utterly dissatisfied with our SnackNation experience and will never do business with them again.

Desired Outcome

Cancellation of our 3 month subscription.

Customer signed up on 3/28/18
Customer reached out to cancel membership on 4/9/18
SnackNation informed the customer that she needs to fulfill her 3-mo agreement and we could cancel the account after her last order scheduled for 6/20
Customer disputed the 3-mo agreement claiming she didn't know of it BUT she did respond to the "I agree" email and we forwarded her a copy of the signed agreement
SnackNation offered to reduce her payment for her final shipments since cost was the biggest issue for them
Customer continued to say they would dispute charges
SnackNation Manager wrote a response to customer to see if we could come to a resolution
Customer never responded
