I would like to say that this club is no longer owned by *** *** I became the 4th owner of this club in years last
summerThe club has been struggling with membership and equipment issues due to neglect for quite some timeWith regard to the issues on the elliptical machines there has never been one instance where any of them has not been in perfect operating conditionI own other clubs with this piece of equipment, I have never had issue with any of the others I own eitherThis particular piece is basically bullet proofThere are paper towel holders in each of the washrooms, the paper towel dispensers throughout the club have been removed and replaced with real terrycloth towel and spray bottles of disinfectant easily accessible near the area where the members place their personal items when they arriveWe are a hour facility that is not staffed hours and it is possible that in the evening after we leave a paper towel dispenser may run out, but this is a very rare occurrence
The issues regarding the TV monitors is truly ongoing, I don't use these in any other club for exactly this reasonWhile there are numerous signs instructing members how and where to change the TV channels, they are forever accidentally hitting buttons on the equipment that changes the settings and takes the monitors out of sync and remain that way until a staff member rectifies the issueWe are constantly hearing this particular complaint and had *** out several times, including yesterday to look for a better solution and be sure all the equipment was properly functioning, it is
Treadmills are a high maintenance piece of equipment for any health club, we I can tell you have replaced motors, boards, decks and belts as well as at least TV monitor one almost all of the treadmills in order to bring them up to operating conditionUnfortunately due to years of neglect there is always something else that needs attentionAs of this writing the repair service was just at the club on May 25th, and all of the treadmills are operating properlyWe will continue to address these issues as they arisePeople must understand the parts for these machines are not stocked due to the high cost and often need to be ordered causing an interruption in service
We have been working to return this club to a level where everyone may find an enjoyable environment to exercise, but it will take time and often as in the case of this club much of that change must start from the inside out where the changes are unseen by the members such as implementing new software,training staff to serve the members and things of this natureWe are continuing our efforts to improve the facility
