On 10/03/15 this business refused to honored a poorly done tint job and to make matters 10X worse , the receptionist has absolutely NO customer skillsOn 9/18/15, Snappy Windshield Repair did a tint job on my BMW. After allowing the tint to completely dry on the days specified, I notice air bubbles and jagged edges around window. My finance notified the business first by phone concerning this problem. My fiancé was to bring the car back to the place of business for inspection. On Wednesday, 9/30/15 my fiancé drove the car to Snappy Windshield Repair and the Owner met him outside to inspect his tint job. The Owner agreed it was a poorly done tint job and said the reason for a poorly done job because they were running out of tint and apologized. My fiancé said they ended that note with a handshake .The Owner of Snappy Windshield Repair told my fiancé to bring the car back on Saturday, 10/2/15 at 9am. My fiancé informed me via phone of what the Owner said and was thankful the Owner agreed to honor his work. On 10/3/15 my fiancé arrives at Snappy Windshield Repair at 8:55. As he enters the door, the receptionist asked him what he was there for and my fiancé informed the receptionist he was there get a tint job did over on his BMW and the Owner told him to be there at 9am today. The receptionist said " He won't be in until 12 today." My fiancé then replied, "Why would he tell me to get her at 9am this morning." She replied loudly and angrily I ain't got nothing to do with that. So my fiancé then said, so who do I need to speak with about my tint...she replied, I don't know. My fiancé requested a refund, but she stated they don't do refunds. He said she was loud and became more agitated as he tried to address this issue and eventually came away from around the counter and threatening to call the police on him as if was a criminal. My fiancé said he left the place of business to avoid being wrongly accused and said to receptionist, as he was leaving "somebody is going to fix my ___________." He called very upset and in disbelief as to what had just occurred. I told him he did the right thing by leaving and I would come there to address the problem. He waited for me at another location and I took my car back there before 10:30 on exact same day. I told the receptionist my fiancé had brought the car earlier and repeated that the Owner had told him to bring the car at 9am today. The receptionist was on the attack and VERY rude and loud. She told me what she told my fiancé and was very nonchalant about it. I then asked her in calm matter to try to bring her down a notch about what time she was expecting the Owner and she said around 12 but I don't really know. I said well I need leave my car to get the tint done over. I left my key with thereceptionist and tried inquire what time did she think my tint would be done and she replied, "I don't know, he "the Owner" been known to be here until 5. So I left my key and contact # behind and at 12:33 pm the Owner called my phone, ask if it was it blah blah blah and I said yes it is. The Owner of Snappy Windshield Repair exact words were and I quote, "I heard your husband showed up here and showed his __________." I said excuse me sir but don't call my phone cursing. The Owner then said, "I won't touch your car until he come here and apologize. Before I could respond, the Owner hangs up in my face. I ended up contacting the police department to escort my fiancé and I to pick my car in case it was further conflict/issues. Since the Owner refused to do my tint over, I requested a refund and he said his policy would not allow refund. I asked to see a copy of his policy and the Owner said he would have to write something, but could not present a policy about not refunding my cash payment of $155.00. The Owner of Snappy a Windshield Repair never ask my fiancé what occurred and sided with his sister, the receptionist. The Owner admitted in front of me and the police officer that on day he met my fiancé, he was very nice. The Owner was unapologetic, unprofessional, and downright RUDE. We left Snappy Windshield Repair very upset without NOTHING accomplished. Desired SettlementI am requesting the amount the money paid to get the tint done and the anticipated amount it will cost to have the current tint removed.
