I was treated by an employee very poorly at the downtown [redacted] locationEmployee stated my second time seeing him he felt negative energy around meHe made me wait in line for a spray tan and then proceeded to tell me I was last in line when I was first (other employee told me system error) however, employee should have known whose firstAfter this incident the employee put a demeaning note on my account for everyone that works there to see when I walked into the facility where I had a membershipI would walk up to tan and employees would make a funny faces at my account and this is when I realized this employee made a noteHe is a district managerI then proceeded to try avoid him by going to a different location ( [redacted] )He was there and falsely accused me of using a homophobic term on him which I absolutely did not to the company in order to keep him out of trouble and for me to lose my membershipCompany canceled me because I stated to this employee in front of other em

In mid-March, I developed a rash after tanning. I didnt think much of it, thinking it was a heat rash or reaction to tanning bed cleaner. I went a few more times when the rash seemed to have been clearing up some. Well the rash spread to my face and with each day got worse. I froze my account while I was on medications that restricted sun exposure/tanning, and started down the path of medical visits (1.5 months) to determine what the rash was and to eventually clear up. At which time it was eventually diagnosed as skin ***. And I was informed that the tanning exposure flared it up, and to no longer tan. I went back to the tanning salon to use two spray tans I purchased (once in April, once in May). The last time I visited in May, I asked the employee to cancel my membership. She told me it was frozen and I could come back the next month to cancel. I said, "no I am here now and due to my diagnosis I know I cant tan so I wanted to take care of it right then vs driving bac

I setup a tanning package for$plus $startup fee in MarchWhen I went in April 15th, I was told it was the last day and I could choose to auto-draft at $I agreed to $48/month, not $and I would never agreed to an additional $startup fee for one monthPer their website "As low as $48.88/mo| Unlimited Redlight Therapy + Unlimited Versa Spa Spray SessionsClear and Bronze premium solution options included, as well as Fit Body Wrap and Hydration Station." I was also told I would have to pay to try the hydration station, which is shown as clearly part of the unlimited package I had chosen

I signed up for an unlimited monthly tanning package the afternoon of Wednesday, May 4, with the assumption I would be able to use it for at least a monthAs a live sports producer my work schedule changes quite frequentlyWhen I returned to work after signing up for tanning, I was put on assignment out of town leaving Thursday, May and returning to Colorado on June As soon as I get back from my assignment in Rio I am leaving for vacation which is the only reason I signed up for the tanning package in the first place I contacted the salon and district manger several timesNo one is willing to refund my money for services I never usedThe store owner will not speak to me about the issue either

I have been with Darque Tan for almost years now and I've had several negative experiencesI've gone to different locations in Colorado (12th Ave, University Blvd, Arapahoe, and Parker Rd in Centennial) and with each location they have had employees that are unprofessional and appear unkeptI've walked in several times and I've seen an employee laying on a couch rather than at the counter to greet customersI've received different price quotes from different locations, so no one seems to be on the same page with their packagesI've had my membership changed (the price and the package) without notification to me, the employee stated it said that they are within their right to do that in my membership contract which may be valid however I don't feel like its professional to change a customers membership price and what the membership entails without any notification to themI've also had at least experiences where the salon is closed during their business hours which was highly inconvenient
