Snellgrove's Upholstery

They had my item for a total so 27 days. I was told each time I called that they were working on them. Finally at the 25 day point I told them not to work on them and I would pick them up and par for any work that had been done. The next day was on a weekend. I called to see if anyone was there so I could pick it up. The owner told me they were working on the item at that time. I told him that I had made it clear to his employee the previous day that I did not want the work to continue. He cut me off and said that since he would charge me full price anyway, that he figured he would go on and finish them. Then he tried to make me feel bad by telling me about some personal problems that he had. Then he began to lecture me. His main point was that we don't always get to have things happen exactly the way we want. It was at this point that I hung up, drove to his store and retrieved my item. He graciously decided not to charge me. I estimate that less than two hours of labor went in to my item in 27 days. Also, I brought him the fabric and they had thrown away half of it. I lost the fabric and the use of my item for almost a month. I had been lied to by his employee three times and by the owner once. They never called me, I always had called them ( day 9, day 16, day 25, 26, and 27).
