monoxide spilling into basement due to the flu pipe not installed correctly. Next, we were hired by the home owner to install flu pipe so no carbon monoxide would be spilling into the basement. We were contacted around 23 days later from the home owner stating that he had problems with leaking natural gas in the basement. I then Contacted Rochester Gas and Electric to ask what they found when they were called to the location. On record was the following: Technician tested for natural gas with a meter when he arrived. The meter was reading 0% natural gas on the first floor. The technician went to the basement and found a fitting at the gas fitting that was not tight. He tightened the loose fitting adn that took care of the issue. On record with RG&E it did not say anything about there being any disaster. Snidermans did do work at this home that has aluminum gas lines that are not safe. Aluminum line can be bumped into and bent and possibly cause leaks. Also it may not be code to have these lines in a residential home. I do not think we owe the home owner money back for work that we preformed to make the home safer for him and his family. Unfortunately they had a gas leak in their home and had to go outside while it was made sure the home was safe. Fortunately nothing did happen or we may be talking about this in a different place.
