I [redacted] took my dogs to get groomed on the dec [redacted] on December **, my dog Bo started coughing throwing up mucus I took my dog bow to the vet on Monday December **, the vet asked me if they been in a kennel and I said no so they took blood work and gave him A shot to help his coughing and told me to call back in the morningSo I did they said blood work was OK Bo needed anabioticI wound up paying $It is now December **  those eyes did not look good his breathing was faint my other dog Missy was coughingI have a dog with a heart problemDrJohnson in Middletown wants to see them back today for a vaccination on the kennel cough I contacted snips and tails and told him about the kennel cough they said yes we know about it it's been going on since December *, I then asked her why she did not contact me and tell me that she had an outbreak of the kennel cough she told me that they's scrubbed everything down I said to her if I knew this I wo

First of all let me start by saying *** *** did not get what was said quite Right*** did contact us about her dog getting kennel cough on or around Dec**,and we explained to her that we have just started hearing from a few of our clients that had come to our shop
between Dec* & Dec *** that their dogs contracted kennel coughShe then asked why we didn't inform her that there was kennel cough in the shop because she would never have brought her dogs to get groomedI explained we couldn't inform her of something we didn't know yet, that there is a to ** day incubation period before symptoms come out so if a dog has it in their system we don't know for to ** daysAs soon as we heard from our clients we posted it on our Facebook pageI then went on to ask her if her dog was inoculated against it because there is a bordetella vaccine that the dogs can get that protects dogs against kennel cough. She went on to tell me her dog was not protected against itI told her we have it written on all our paper work that snips-N- Tails can not be held responsible if a dog gets kennel cough it is like us getting a cold or the flu that it is an airborne virus and dogs should get the bordetella vaccine to protect against itShe never spoke to us about her vet bill however snips-N-Tails will not pay itIt was her responsibility to make sure her dog was protectedIn fact in speaking to the vets in the area they informed us it was very nice of us to post it when we found out about it because it wasn't our fault and we would probably get back lash about itAnd as this shows they were right
