TO Revdex.com, We've never had a complaint like this. For. the amount of installs we do all of our Customers refer us to the next person. Most installers, who come on a service call from a consumer normally do tend to agree with the consumer for the business. We get a high-volume of calls each season on service work or repair work from consumers like this scenario. Sometimes, we discover the customer wasn't always a 100% clear on the front-end. Snortum's Landscape

I am rejecting this response because:  The business failed to comply with my installation requests.  The hand written letter is a confirmation that this company is very unprofessional.  The way that Chris becomes defensive of my opinion of their work tells...

me that they don't care about customers once they are paid.  When we were in contact last summer, he told me that they would swing by and check out some of my concerns but they never swung by.  They never addressed poor grading, or the fact that my yard was mostly weeds. I consulted with several people that work with lawns, and none of them feel my yard was ever done adequately.  I have had my lawn aeriated and over seeded this year.  I also seeded it myself last fall.  This is the only reason my yard is looking the way it is.  I will be over seeding my yard again in the fall.  I have seen dozens of yards in my neighborhood planted with hydro seeding.  Not a single one of them has had to put in the time, money, and effort to get their lawn growing like I have.  None of them have puddles in their yards during rains due to poor grading, and none had the weed growth that I had because their grass was seeded fully.  I know I won't get a refund from this company, but the least I can do is prevent others from being screwed over by their poor customer service, and lack of proper equipment to get the job done right. Here is a list of obvious problems with the installation.  None of them had to do with the weather making for a poor lawn.1.)  The hydro seeding was done very thin and spotty.  There were areas that the ground still looked like black dirt on day one.  There was no cover that is normally applied during hydro seeding.  I asked Brad why it looks like there was no coverage and he said that is just the way it is.  The areas that looked like black dirt required my to plant by and last summer because there was ZERO grass seed in that area.  2.)  The grade in the yard was never level.  The back yard is up and down all over, and water settles in the middle of the backyard any time our rain fall is over a 1/4 inch.  3.)  Every lawn company does a finished grade first, tilling up weeds and loosening top soil.  They then come back and use a vibrating trencher to install sprinkler lines.  Snortums dug in sprinkler lines first, then attempted to grade the area.  This meant that they had to dodge the sprinkler heads with their tilling equipment.  There was a 2' ring of open dirt and weeds surround the majority of the heads in the backyard.4.)  I requested sprinkler heads and lines to be run well within my property line, because I knew a fence was going to be installed the following year.  Brad acknowledged my request, but did not install per that request. 5 of the fence posts hit sprinkler lines this week, and I had to move 4 heads because they were on the wrong side of the fence. I had to hire a local sprinkler company to fix the broken lines in good time so the fence posts could be completed.  Along with the poor installation is a bad design.  The zones of the backyard do not overlap adequately enough to water ever area of the back.  During a dry summer like the one we are having, it really shows itself.  I had some assistance from someone who used to work for an irrigation company.  He confirmed that the only way I will get complete irrigation is by altering the current system and adding to it.  Some of the struggles with my new lawn are directly tied to poor irrigation installation.
