The funeral home has not responded to my requests for a status update regarding correcting my mother's death certificate.My mother died in June 2013 in Memphis; In July 2013, I received a copy of her death certificate. It contained numerous errors and I sent a letter detailing the corrections via [redacted]. I called the funeral home to follow-up and was told that another relative had asked the funeral home to delay the corrections. **. [redacted] told me last week that he would move forward to get the corrections done. I asked him to please respond with an update in two days. At this point, he has not returned the calls and I can't get an answer at the funeral home. My mother will be dead three months on Sept. 16, 2013, which is also her birthday. Let's please get her death certificate corrected ASAP and filed with the appropriate authorities.
