Case# [redacted] / [redacted] Bell Collision provided rental car to Mr [redacted] while the repaint was doneHe had removed a decal on the underside of the trunk lid and there was what appeared to be a finger print in the paint that was missed in our Quality Control processThis decal should not have been removed It is a decal installed by Honda showing that the trunk lid is a Genuine Honda manufactured partThis is industry standard to leave it in placeWe cannot scuff & prep under this decal, it is physically impossibleWe did however repair & refinish the area where the decal was removed at no cost to him or his insurance companyThe Left headlamp and chrome accents on Mr [redacted] ’s front bumper were not damaged in the accident as determined by his insurance companyTherefore, they denied payment for these items as they appeared to be rock chips (wear) prior to the accidentWe did however replace some of the chrome accents and polish out the headlamp at no charge to Mr [redacted] or his insurance companyBumper clips are typically reused as an insurance industry standardBell Collision installed new Honda Original Equipment Manufacturer clips and retainers at no charge to Mr [redacted] or his insurance companyThe rear speaker was inspected and there were small metal shavings that we removed correcting the speaker noise concernSuspension alignment was rechecked and found to be in Honda specificationsA minor adjustment was made to correct for road crown (roads slanted to the right typically for water drainage).Mr [redacted] had a glass company come out and install a windshield while it was in our possessionIt appears the glass company scratched the dash at time of installationBell Collision had the dash repaired at no cost to Mr [redacted] or his insurance companyAt Bell Collison we pride ourselves on Customer Service & QualityWe have repaired approximately 35,vehicles over the past years with an average Customer Service Index of 97% We genuinely apologize for the experience Mr [redacted] has with this repair.Mr [redacted] was paid $for his time, inconvenience and provided a rental car

My stepson removed the dash or part of it and found that no screw was inserted at the top on the driver's side, which accounted for alot of the rattling There is still rattling in the center of the dash It does not occur all the time - it depends on the road, but my car never rattled before When I took it in for repair I specifically told the Bell Honda representative that I did not want my car returned to me with rattles The representative assured me there would be no problem In addition to the screw missing in the dash that my stepson replaced, there were rattles that were caused because Bell Honda forgot to put clips on what I would call the lower part of the car on the sides - I don't know the proper name, but clips were missing from that area My stepson took the car back to Bell Honda and told them the clips were missing and once they attached them it helped with a lot of the rattling I am left with rattling that doesn't occur on all roads - just those that are rough I don't want to take it back to have Bell Honda tell me it is because of my sun glasses when I know better I would like them to actually address the problem this time

On May 9th Mr*** brought his vehicle to Bell Collision to be repaired through his insurance carrierThe vehicle was reviewed with Mr*** and repairs commenced the same dayMr***'s repairs were completed May 16thHe picked up his vehicle the same dayThe repairs were reviewed at
delivery (we call this an "active delivery")All appeared ok at this timeOn May 24th Mr*** took an electronic survey that we send out to verify customer satisfactionWe did receive a not so stellar CSI score form Mr***, so we attempted to contact him and left messages with no responseLater we did get a response from him and his Insurance CarrierHe was concerned about an issue with the Hood refinishWe set up a time for Mr*** to come to our facility do we could review the concernMr***'s insurance carrier paid to fox a dent on the RT hand side of the fender (see photo)When the repair is so far over to one edge the insurance carrier mandates that we do and they will only pay for the damage that occurred in the lossThe damaged area was repaired and the insurance company pat for a partial refinish onlyUpon inspection on the hood it was noted that these "imperfections" were rock chips and pits in the hood prior and not in the repaired areaThe insurance carrier will not pay for this unrelated prior damage/conditionWe offered Mr*** the opportunity to pay for the unrelated damaged and the difference in reduced paint time, and we would repaint again at no charge to himHis cost would be $265. This would have been his cost if we had done the additional repair in conjunction with his insurance paid work. He was unhappy with this offerWe have since then offered to complete the additional repair at out cost, which would be $(we rounded down to $175)This was out last communication until the Revdex.com complaint.Thank YouChris D***Bell Collision Center Director

We will do a minor inspection at no chargeIf more intensive diagnostics needed then *** will need to approve possible diagnostic chargesIf the rattle is found not related to the repairs or the loss there may be charges incurred. The vehicle is years old and may have some noises due to age and normal wear and tear
