Any account that was set up in this manner were permanently deleted from the Snowbomb system. No personal information was saved, published or distributed. You mention that you signed up for this account because Snowbomb sent out a promotion saying the Platinum Pass was free. The bottom line is, that is not true and was never true. An account was set up for FREE by using promotional codes that listed a deal for $99. No contract was signed, no advertising was posted as a FREE pass. Your account was immediately terminated because it was set up against our terms of service. If at any time there was an  advertisement from Snowbomb or our partners offering a FREE deal you would have a point. However, that is not the case. All offers were listed as a $99 price point.  You abused the system set forth to offer a discount and were rejected your membership because you did so.

Hello, This customer used multiple promotional codes in conjunction with one another to obtain a Free Platinum Pass Membership on Snowbomb.com. At no time did Snowbomb or its partners offer a promotion for a FREE Platinum Pass. The promotional codes that were used to obtain this pass are listed...

below. Both advertisements clearly state that the promotional code can be use to PURCHASE a Platinum Pass for $99 over a 50% discount. Code: Travelzoo   http://tahoetopia.com/lake-tahoe-deals/save-over-50-snowbomb-platinum-passCode Tahoetopia: http://www.travelzoo.com/entertainment/san-francisco-northern-california/-99-Sno... use of multiple promotional codes is in violation of our terms of service and can be seen on our check out page and the FAQ section on Snowbomb.com listed below. All promotional codes are listed individually and at no time could be used in conjunction with one another. http://www.snowbomb.com/cart/https://snowbomb.zendesk.com/hc/en-usFina... all those who used these two coupons in conjunction with one another were notified that their account had been terminated and would not be honored for the following reasons. 1. I am rejecting this response because:I have my views on what occurred. You have yours. I call it false advertisement. You call it abuse. It would be abuse if one or maybe a handful of people did something sneaky. I call it false advertisement if your website generated so many visitors it slowed down/ crashed your website. Your website accepted the deal and produced an invoice. To me, this is a form of contract.  If you saw a shopping ad advertising a pair of sneakers at [redacted] for 40 dollars but the store has it for 60. The store will sell the shoe at the advertised price. Hundreds, may be thousands saw the same deal I saw for the platinum pass and flocked to your website... You claim abuse and our e-mail was used to set up a fraudulent account. But in reality, our e-mail was used to set up a valid account but you choose not to honor a deal hundreds/ thousands signed up for. At this point we are just repeating ourselves. We have different viewpoints on what occurred. I SEE your point of view and understand your argument. Please see mine. I have no animosity towards you nor your company. You guys offered a good deal. I have received FREE deals from you in the past. You offer free/ good deals on your social media sites. Just acknowledge you or your website made an error rather then accusing all of your customers of setting up a fraudulent account.  - [redacted]

Terrible customer service.

Review: The company was offering a special promotion. The special promotion yielded so many visitors to their website that it froze periodically. The advertisement tricked consumers such as myself to browse their website and read the deals. I set up a valid account with all my personal information using discount codes that were advertised. The account passed and my advertised deals were provided (free lift tickets etc to select Tahoe locations). I forwarded these advertised deals to my friends which I assume others around the world/ nation did as well. Hell, It was an awesome deal. Free lift tickets and one nights stays at certain hotels.I received an email, well we ALL received the same e-mail that accused us of setting a fraudulent account and the deals would not be honored. That is absurd. To void everything after all that waiting and re-clicking because of the heavy traffic the website was unable to handle is insulting. To me, this is false advertisement. I was lured to their website with attractive discount offers. The redemption keywords were ACCEPTED on their checkout website. I spent my valuable time browsing and reading content on their website because of their advertised deals. I sign up giving you MY personal information. Now they say the account was set up with a fraudulent e-mail and the deal is not honored. I disagree. It seems like Snowbomb lured many people to their website with false promises and false advertising. This I believe is FRAUDULENT. I expect the vouchers and deals I signed up for. I look forward to your response. The e-mail I used on their website is the same one I am using now for this website.Desired Settlement: I expect the vouchers that were promised to be honored to everyone that spent their time on their website based on the false advertisement. I mean, we checked out, everything was approved.... To get an e-mail a few days later accusing everyone of setting up a fraudulent account after taking ALL of our personal information is wrong. I followed-up with customer service but they told me too bad. I dont have much power as a simple consumer. I hope the Revdex.com can assist. This has to be wrong.

I am really dissapointed I was deceived in giving out my personal information. I wrote you guys regarding my concern only to receive a response about not giving me a pass. You totally disregarded the gathering of personal information from probably thousands of people. This is what disturbs me the most. You obtained consumer information through false deals. This has to be against some type consumer laws.

Terrible Experience!
I tried to redeem the "free" stay at Grand Sierra Resort and have yet to find a weekend date with availability. Unless you're willing to take time off from work and stay during a weekday it is useless. In addition if you decide to make reservations for the stay (that you probably won't use) in order to redeem the "free" Mt. Rose lift ticket voucher it will cost you the resort and tourism fees of $37. No longer "free" is it?! For someone living in Reno the stay at GSR seems pointless.
I contacted Grand Sierra Resort customer service and asked if there was a way to redeem the lift ticket without having to pay the fee if I had no intention on using the stay and they said no. Seems like a pretty good scam to me.
I contacted snowbomb customer service and got the same run around, "Unfortunately all pass information is pre-set and not changeable." No real customer service or understanding of my circumstance specifically where I couldn't get a weekend reservation and a weekday stay would require me to take time off from work to stay at a hotel just 5 miles away from where I live, OH BOY, WHAT A VACATION! If I would have known about the fine print on obtaining the Mt. Rose ticket I wouldn't have purchased the snowbomb pass. Thanks for the lack of customer service [redacted]!
I now regret recommending this pass to family and friends and look forward to discouraging others from purchase in the future via word of mouth, reviews and any and all social media outlets I can find as the customer service provided has been poor and the quality of the only resort I have utilized thus far was extremely disappointing, what a waste of money.
Extremely disappointing!
