On January 23 I got online to book a vacation rental in Clearwater Beach for February 1-29, 2020. I found an ad for Snowflake Inn, put in my credit card information and booked it. I, then went out to do some errands. When I returned, I had an email telling me that the dates were unavailable. I, then, booked a unit at Island Cay. The next day (January 24)I received an email from the booking agent Airbnb telling me I had been charge $4405.15 for the rental of Snowflake Inn. I immediately called Capitalone to have the charge removed and cancelled Snowflake Inn. Then, I got another email telling me that Snowflake Inn was not available until sometime in March. So, now I have two emails telling me Snowflake Inn is not available and a reservation elsewhere. Now Airbnb on behalf of Snowflake Inn has resubmitted the charge of $4405.12, saying that their refund policy can only give me $517. How can they charge me for something they told me they did not have, for a place I did not occupy? This feels like some kind of scam.
Billing Adjustment I want the charge removed from my credit card.

*** tried to book 3 apts. One was available and I booked her into it The other apts werre not available so she was advised of that but #3 became available. She never showed up for a monthly rental I was out 4407. I spoke to AIRBNB. They said we had a strict booking/ refund policy and they were refunding only $517 . I said no and to refund her money which they said they would take the money out of my account which I had not collected on yet which they did. I saw the arrears notice on my account. She did not notify me she was not coming. So that apt remained vacant for the whole month. I did not receive her money Please check with AIRBNB. She cost me a whole months rental.
