Snowflake pet center is NOT recommended. Losing a patient and not communicating with your client, negative. Going on social media and bashing your already hurt client with lies and negativity. Blaming the client for leaving their pet and not taking responsibility...and finally, getting psychic to do the work and refusing to disclose any results to the client. How cruel can you be? The also spoke about the case openly with their attorney on social medial. This place should be allowed to take care of pet rocks, nevermind living things. They can't keep a vet on board either. Fess up and be honest. Stop hiding behind things. For a business to beg for money to keep the heat on...looks like their "48 years of service" is about to come to an end!

Review: Allow me to begin by saying I'm new to CT as a result I needed to find a vet and a boarding facility for my dog. I had find a magaize ([redacted]) advertising Snowflake in [redacted], CT. The ad did not indicate how much shots would be for my dog nor did it give any detailed information regarding boarding my dog as I result I had to call to inquire the cost of shot as well as boading fees. They seemed reasonable and friendly. On July 21st I had taken my dog for a check up and he recived his shots. On July 21st I inquired about their borading facility. I asked to be taken for a tore to see the boarding area. Kathy one of the owners had shown me the crate my dog would be staying in and was told it would cost $ 30.00 each night. Today August 21st I picked my dog up and was charged for 7 full days of service, however my dog was in their care for 6 1/2 days to be technical. I had asked on a few accounts when I would be able to pick my dog up and each time I was told anytime before 6 O'clock. It was never stated to me if I pick him up after 10:00 I would be charged for an additional day. . When customers ask for the time frame when their animal can be picked up they should indicate any time before 6 however, if you arrive after 10: 00 AM you will be charged for an additional day. They failed to properly inform me of that stipulation therefore I was quite upset. That is a scam. The secretary said, the fee policy is posted in the boarding building that was never shown to me as I was only shown his crate which is located in the same building of the vet. She also mentioned its on the wesite, I never went to the website why would I since I find them from an ad they must of placed. I wasn't properly informed of baording fees I therefore refused to do business with them in the future. Apperently they could careless if customers are unsatified with their services. They had a chance to resolve the issure by doing what woudl be proper and not charge me for 7 days. They chose not to accoumatdate me as a customer not that they coulden't they did not want to resolve the matter.Desired Settlement: They had a chance to resolve this matter on the spot they chose not to resolve the problem which doesn't say much for the company. I'm not certain their can be a positve out come unless they mail a refund to me. No sweat off my back their are plenty of boarding/vet facilities in CT I dont have to use a place of business that hide important imformation regarding fees.
